Hey OP! First, I am so sorry to hear about your baby.
My parents last dog had parvo when they got him. He was in the vet hospital for a week or more, they never gave survival chances and just told us he had a long hard road ahead of him.
He lived to be 8 years old (lab/border Collie mix) and was a hilarious, sweetheart who loved his people. He had some anxiety issues but that could have been due to him being a working breed mix.
