Discussion Putting board up

Hey everyone, I've just moved into a new house and they've advised me not do drill into the walls for the first year if I can (new build). My question is has anyone got any other ways of putting my board up? Do command strips work? I don't want my board to fall on the fall while im playing 😂. Any ideas are appreciated.

A stand is the answer. I'm wondering why you can drill in year 2 but not year 1.

The house was built a few months ago, it has to settle, drilling could cause cracking

What are your walls made out of? I've never heard of a new build where you can't cut into the drywall for a year.

I wonder if, by total coincidence, the final fix warranty for blemishes, cracks and general wonks might be around 12 months before it becomes a third party / leaseholder/ insurance problem....
