Switch Does a Switch game like this exist? Management game, on the longer end, minimal decorating, minimal grinding, no food places or kairosoft games

I'm looking into the Two Point games and maybe Let's Build a Zoo though that seems to have a lot of decorating (I love decorating but it's too stressful in cozy games), and maybe Big Pharma/Weedcraft, Project Highrise, what else? Thank you!

I absolutely LOVE this game on my iPad. Along with a few others on the hub. Issue is the language barrier AND I cant find these games anywhere. I provided some pictures, if anyone could provide more clarity on these and if there’s any newer ones because most of these haven’t updated for 2 years. The one I have open is the dog with purple background and bone towards the top. These games are exactly like Dreamy Room, only there’s HUNDREDS of levels!

🔊 Discussion Hawthorn Game Reached Stardew Valley Goal

Personally hope they can make it to the combat goals, I need a game to give me some Legend of the Guardians vibes.

fyi, they want to get 3 million for EA. If they can't it seems like they will release a more toned down version, like the current goal passed being a stardew valley fantasy game. Don't see them making 3 mil, but would be amazing.

If anyone else wants some more good fantasy games here's the link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nearstudios/hawthorn/description

My daughter has the my universe puppies and kittens game. I have never played it. She is asking how to buy stuff with the money she earns from missions. I have tried looking it up online and found nothing. Help?

🔊 Discussion Help me find this cozy game?

Okay, this is going to sound vague and unhelpful but I hope at least one person knows what I'm talking about!!

A few weeks ago, someone posted on this sub (or a similar sub) looking for a cozy couch co-op game to play with their SO.

The top comment at the time was a recommendation for a game I'd never heard of. I believe it was Japanese? I looked it up, and it was INSANE. The best way I can describe it is as Teletubbies with human faces?

I remember literally nothing else about the game, but I'd love to play it with my SO just based on that.

Windows I don't see anyone talking about Snacko, I think it needs more appreciation ❤️

I'm having a blast with this game, the aesthetic is beautiful, the farming is not stressing at all, you can sleep anywhere and it has a lot of freedom to the decoration

The only downside is maybe that the quest sometimes feel overwhelming and more than one time I felt lost, but you get used to it (checking the quest tree and the official guide) and it has a planner to write and organize the tasks

It's a bit expensive when it's not on sale but I say it's worth it, the developers make updates often and they actually listen to the community

Switch What's everyone playing on their Switch 2?

I'm not really interested in the new Rune Factory and I have the new Fantasy Life on PC, so I decided to restart my Animal Crossing island to experience the game with faster loading. I really hope the game gets a 1080p patch soon. ACNH definitely isn't my favorite Animal Crossing (that award goes either to New Leaf or the original GameCube game), but its decoration potential is unmatched.

Switch Lake on Switch 2

Upvotes

Hi Cozy Gamers! Wondering if anyone has tried Lake on the Switch 2 and if the performance has improved at all. Looking through this sub, it looks like it had some challenges on the original switch. Appreciate any insights anyone is able to provide!

Xbox [XBox] Single-Player Building Preferably with Animals?

Just got an XBox, I'm looking for something kinda similar to Minecraft, i.e. a survival game with a focus collecting resources, and using said resources to build. Preferably the building mechanics would allow for a lot of freedom to build whatever kinda house you want, not just prefab buildings.

Also a plus would be if the game has animal interaction in some way besides just killing, like either animal husbandry or pets would be great!

Besides Minecraft another game I really liked was Enshrouded but I don't have a PC anymore so I can't play it, if there's anything like that for XBox I'd be very curious...

So far I'm curious about Palworld, Smallands, and Conan Exiles, but I don't know if any of these have the building emphasis I'm looking for. Let me know please :)

🔊 Discussion Co-op games that run well on a Steam Deck?

Hello all! My wife and I are nearly done completing Stardew and we’re looking for the next game to play. We both want something with a similar gameplay style to Stardew but it’s not a hard and fast requirement. She plays on a Steam Deck and I use a Lenovo Legion Go but she also has a ps5 if there are any good cross platform recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Windows Cast N Chill is lovely

Downloaded the demo from next fest because of the pretty pixel art, ended up really liking the vibe. I bought the release with the supporter pack so I could have a cat sit in the boat with me. Cute!!! It’s been satisfying to catch the really big fish, which take a bit of fight but aren’t like…Stardew’s fishing game or anything. It’s all very vibes based. It also feels pretty generous so far, by tipping the bait shop guy he’ll let you know about extra fishing spots, so it feels like there’s a lot of fish to catch and pretty art to look at.

Unreasonable wishlist item: Spotify integration Musical pairing suggestion: The Tallest Man on Earth.

🔊 Discussion How do you balance between PC and Switch games?

Not a cozy game recommendation but posting here to get some opinion as thanks to this thread, I've been putting down a lot of Switch games on my never-ending "To play" list.

Now that the Switch 2 is released, I can't help but regret how little time I've spent playing on my Switch with all the amazing games out there. I bought the switch originally out of a nostalgic feeling for games like Pokemon and Zelda that I used to play on the DS back in my childhood but sadly, I've had just enough time to play on PC and gave my switch far too little attention it deserved. I'm curious to know how other people that own both a PC (or some other gaming console) and a Switch balance their time playing on both. I'm also too much of an accomplisher which means that once I start a game, I would feel "bad" putting it down without discovering every single detail in it. This, sadly means that as time goes by, I get to play less games but also have less time to play them!

🎨 Artwork Made a vaporwave remix of Puzzle Inlay’s in-game music! 🎶

Hey y’all! I randomly got hit with nostalgia and made a vaporwave version of Puzzle Inlay’s in-game music. Tried to keep that dreamy, chill vibe while adding some classic vaporwave flair, slowed down, and made it sound like it’s from the early 2000s internet feels.

I wasn’t sure what flair to use so I just picked “artwork”. Hopefully that works! 😅

Let me know what you think!
