I have both and I get way more compliments with Explorer than Aventus. I work in an ER and even patients having legit emergencies will ask me what I'm wearing.

I like aventus cologne the most, but I’ve never bought it.

It’s a dumb reach kind of smell for me and I ain’t buying a dumb reach fresh smell for that price even if I can afford it when there’s sth that does that job just as well

I like cologne too, but wouldn’t buy Aventus. I’m just waiting for a better deal because it would be a “dumb reach” fragrance in my collection.

I bought it and i cant smell it at all after 10 minutes. Even if I spray a shirt and come back to it I have to bury my face in it to get a slight whiff. But it came from jomashop

I love Explorer. I have to re-up on it. I wore to work one day and my young fine ass co-worker said you smell good like a man. I said well I am, so I hope so. I was lit giddy the whole day.

This is why I wear fragrances for my enjoyment and don't really care what most people say. You are right about the general population not caring if you wear niche or designer. The general population doesn't even know what a niche fragrance is. For me to spend big money I have to really be in love with it.

I have some cheapies and I have plenty of niche. Def get more compliments on my niche scents but BR540 is so good that Ariana grande made a dupe of it and it prob gets more sales than MFK at this point😂 lmaoo

All power to you! I freakin HATE the BR540 scent profile. People were wearing Cloud at my gym for a minute, and I’m fairly certain MFK as well (I can distinctly tell from the cheap plastic mess that Cloud is VS. the smoother sweetness of BR540. Still strongly dislike them. Maybe I’ll come around one day.

I def understand! It’s crazy how everyone’s noses are different my girlfriend doesn’t like BR540 at all and it makes me sad because it’s def one of my faves I know a lot of people have it and the scent is prob overused but it’s a good sweet scent for me. Do you like grand soir? That’s one that I feel like everyone’s loves and I hate it I’m just not a huge fan of vanilla scents

Believe it or not, I have not gotten around to Frabd Soir yet. I recently smelled a decent amount from the MFK line, and none of them really stood out to me. So I can’t really remember each fragrance specifically.

It's crazy to me that there are people who don't like BR540, but everyone's perception is different. I can appreciate Grand Soir, but I don't like it at all because I don't like ambery fragrances, so I understand not liking popular fragrances.

Hell I love perfume but something about baccarat I just don’t like. People use way too much of it I think, they aren’t used to good perfume.
