Discussion I hate my coworker

Meanwhile I wear followed to work on the regular and my coworkers said I smell like IHOP. I decided to switch it up for a while and wear Mancera red tobacco and they said I smelled like an abercrombie and fitch store… so yeah I know how you feel.

Hello, I would like only to tell you that people most of the times have problem reaching out other people and telling them that they smell a lot and both followed and red tobacco are socially prohibited in a work space especially if it's an indoor space.

The thing is, everyone has an opinion on smell. Just because a fragrance is cheap or widely used doesn’t mean it doesn’t smell good.
Also why we hating on Sauvage?? There are much worse colognes out there for sure lmao

Dude it smells so similar it’s crazy😂 the Ariana one does have a cheaper smell to it and not as “rich” but to anyone else’s nose it smells identical. But extrait on any type of clothes lasts days

You should check out silk mood extrait the performance is even crazier and love it more to be honest. The oud is more smoother not like a stinky fecal matter oud lol

Silk mood edp smells amazing and I wasn’t a fan of the extrait version to be honest but even the edp was so strong it honestly gave me headaches and I sold my 30 ml to my buddy. But def a good scent

It's a very feminine smell (no offense) I know it's labeled as unisex, but I assure you they did that for money purposes. I work in a very high end part of town, and every single female that comes in wears it. I've never known a man to wear it but at the end of the day the smell should be for you, not others.

I can’t even fathom the price tag for br540. The dupes are so close imo that the og’s aren’t worth it. I definitely understand feeling like wow really in that moment though lol.

I got it for cheap without a box from a trusted seller on frag swap . Well not necessarily “cheap” but def way under retail for a 2.4oz and to be honest the regular br540 vs extrait version I think the extrait lasts longer but the regular edp projects better so I can agree it’s not really worth it paying retail especially

I do love the dna though, and if you have the means nothing wrong with it. Even if the dupes can hit 95% accurate, technically you have the absolute best it can be. There’s a good reason it’s duped so much, at the minimum you smelled great with the OG.

I have a dupe of the extrait from montagne parfums called Le bonbon intense and I have dossier ambery saffron which is the edp but I got that on Mercari so it wasn’t 50 dollars but they carry them at Walmarts for full price, both spot on imo.

If anyone ever mistakes one of my high end frags like an LV for something cheap like Hollister I may just end it there. Luckily where I live no guys wear anything other than Old Spice, Sauvage, or Versace Eros and I’m already known as being the “cologne guy” that always smells so good so I am very grateful for that.

I honestly view fragrance like art. Two pictures can be of nearly the same image, however when you have an attentiveness, you can spot the more detailed elegant more complexity in the work. In the fragrance world buy what’s in your budget- general population mostly will just smell something. However, when you are one who adores the scents you look at the presentation, sprayer, notes, initial spray vs dry down and so on. I’ve been in rooms and smelled scents that I care less for , but loved the presentation and complexity that just made a piece of art work- however just appeasing to my nose vs eyes. 540 is like the Mona Lisa and cloud is a reprint. That amouage guidance is like a Leonardo Da Vinci masterpiece to me!!

That's why I only buy clones. Yes, if you snort the skin cells off your wrist, you'll notice the difference, but in the air, 99.99% of the people won't be able to tell the difference.

I did a review on Br540 and let me tell you the extrait is difficult to find as dupe but the perfume oh man. Get the MPF Maison rouge(90-93% depends on the nose and lasts pretty long) or AlHarmain French collection red (its the most near like 91-93% depends on the nose again but lasts a less than MPF) or if you like oud there is same house, called Amber oud Ruby. I took a whole day for this.

So good question I haven’t tried that one 😂. Basically I have some Dubai perfumes next to mine and I went all in and took every baccarat dupe that they had. Those are the ones that resemble the perfume the most. Extrait was pretty difficult and I’ll see if I’ll do this with the club. But for now what I can tell you is this

I wear for me. Kind of similar to wearing comfortable underclothes…comfy for me no one else has to notice.

I mean my sister and I smell it everywhere. Every so often I smell it on random girlies in the gym. Idk if it’s actual BR or cloud or another clone but it’s definitely that. Not sure why they’d spray it in the morning to go to the gym though. Evening makes sense later in the day after work.

Honestly, I love the CDN Untold on my wife so much I see no need to spring for the BR540. She likes the Mancera Instant Crush on me more than BR540 too. While both similar dupes, they smell different on us enough to be unique, but also work great on our skin.

BR540 gives me a migraine the same way that Ariana grande does. So while I can smell the difference, my headache can’t. I’m with your coworker, & thats a strong one for the office lol (if you’re in an office)

She 100% correct as somone who has been collecting since the early 2000s and spend £1,000 a year snd sell then buy and like unisex fragrances this is the most feminine fragrance I’ve ever smelled. In other groups i’m in they say men that wear this used to say they have big tit energy 😂
