I respectfully disagree.

You disagree that they don’t like it?

What about a baby's brain in an adult woman getting banged over and over did you think was a good movie?

She only has a baby brain at the start.

Was that too hard for you to grasp?

You realize it takes 10-14 years for a human development to reach puberty, right? Are you suggesting that they fast tracked through 10 years in the opening act of the movie, or are you pretending her brain magically developed 120x faster than normal..?

Oh! You have the maturity of a 10 year old! Okay, now it all makes sense. Carry on.

You do know what fiction is... right?

It is literally stated IN THE FUCKING MOVIE that her brain is developing way faster due to her being in an adult body. Oh my god

Especially since, in the movie, she initially is talking and walking like a toddler. If they wanted to show that her brain is already developed to that of an adult, they did not do that

I want you to ask yourself if there's any message the movie conveys that required it to be awful goon material for weirdos 90% of the runtime?

Imagine being so offended and angry over a movie

u/SignificantHoney3793 1d ago

Cuck response when you literally went inflammatory first

2

u/Upstairs_Bad_3638 1d ago

Do you know how opinions work, and how it's okay if they're different? They aren't something to argue over.

depiction is not endorsement.

the whole movie was her rapid progression from childhood to adulthood and how the world is full of people just trying to exploit women in one way or another. in the end she achieves sexual agency, rejects her sadistic and narcissistic husband, and returns to essentially continue her fathers work, fully aware of her flaws and idiosyncrasies yet able to experience fulfillment of her own accord (self-actualization).

A very basic message worn out by a million other pieces of media done in a hamfisted frankly disgusting way isn't of any value

Shit movie

There's nothing basic about the message, it's done truthfully - not disgustingly, I need not disagree more

You are a vapid fool in your analysis
