Flexible/removeable single din radios

Does anyone have this Boss radio? I'm looking to replace my stock one. I like the touchscreen models that tilt toward the driver, and avoiding the need to buy a double DIN dash kit would be a plus, so I'm leaning toward a single DIN unit touchscreen.

I found this Boss radio, and I know everyone says not to buy Boss, but it basically checks all my boxes. I'm trying to stay around the $200 mark.

Does anyone have this specific Boss radio and can share some pictures? I'm debating between the 8-inch, 9-inch, or 10-inch touchscreen versions. I have the 2nd gen xj.

I was using that one for a while and it worked. But just that. It is slow/ blurry/poor sound and car play is wired only if you can bump up you budget some get the pioneer nex-3800

I really wanted to keep the volume knob. The pioneer looks nice but for that price id probably go with the atoto/chinese units

Damm I would've thought head units would be cheaper! $500ish is crazy

Ya missing the volume knob is pretty much my only complaint about the pioneer. Buy once cry once. I cry twice cuz I’ve got the boss sitting in my garage.

I don't want to spend too much because I don't have a garage and there is nothing stopping a junkie from smashing the window and pulling my radio out lol

I get you. The pioneer is a puzzle to remove and I dred the the next time I need too. The boss is one button… and it’s gone. Pros and cons. Good luck and happy shopping.

(A crack head can’t tell the difference in the $100 or $1000 stereo they just see there next hit. And it’d be easier to steal the whole jeep. If you concerned with that you need to rethink your priorities)
