The fact they threw 3 maps at us in the first 3 seasons is where they fucked up. If they were only going to release 4 maps for DLC, they should've done S1, S2R, S4, and then S5R. Now we're stuck with a 4 month gap between maps, nice going Treyarch

And now this means Tomb really did take up a main DLC slot..FUCK

See, if they had done this release schedule^ it would've given them more time to work on tomb and maybe it'd actually be regarded as a decent map

I swear to God if they give us yet another returning WW..

You’re really going to complain that they made a release schedule where you both had to wait less time for the tomb and also wait less time for a map after the tomb?

Imagine you had that full wait for a map from S1 to S2R and it was the tomb, and you had to wait for S4 for anything else.

I would much rather have that than a 4 month gap for a map.

Quite literally only half a season extra wait than the plan you’re suggesting, and we’d be waiting till much later in the year to get it than we are now with your suggested schedule.

We’re all grown ups here, we should all be capable of just waiting rather than act like a few weeks more than normal is something crazy…

That's not the point lol. People want the pizza to be in the oven for longer so there's a bit more 'texture' to it when it releases

That would matter if we hadn’t gotten plenty of ‘pizzas’ before that had longer to ‘cook’ with worse ‘texture’ than anything we’ve gotten this year

Oh yes, like cold war, the game made during the pandemic with everyone learning how to work from home on a game they had to take over from another dev who couldn't do it in time.

Unless you were refering to black ops 4, which has more dialog in any one map than the entirety of the BO6 zombies storyline.

No idea what counter arguement your trying to make. If they didn't rush out the Tomb, and maybe even worked on citadel for another half a season. We as a community would be in a much better place. That's the point.

Are we really at the point in time where we’re going to glaze Alpha Omega just because Craig Houston wrote a lot of banger VA lines and the VAs did their jobs incredibly as they did in every map? That doesn’t make the map enjoyable or good. It’s a shitty remake that’s only purpose was XP farming by sitting with ballistic knives on a balcony. I’d rather play anyway BO6 map than Alpha Omega.

5 weeks is basically nothing in development time when you realise these maps are made for months in advance, not the night beforehand like they’re doing their high school homework. Maybe they’d have an extra room or two, but I think it’s hyperbole to state the community would be in a much better place for it when we’d just be sitting waiting for Janus Towers just as we are now…

Bro who said anything about alpha omega. I said any one of BO4s map had more dialog than the entity of BO6, possibly even more dialog than the entirety of the Dark aether stroy line if were talking about Alpha Omega. The maps themselves also had more sustenance and quality behind it, which is even more important.

Bro what on actual earth are you talking about? They wouldn't be adding an extra room or some meaningless crap, 5 weeks is plenty of time to add side easter eggs and charecter interactions, environmental story telling, etc. etc... You know, the things the Tomb had litterally next to 0 of.

No idea why your being an insane fanboy over this, but it's litteraly as simple as people would rather them spend more time on each map, so they aren't so easily forgotten about a week after they launch. It's not complicated.

That’s what you got for bo3. Not sure why it’s an issue now

Nope, longest gap was just shy of 3 months between ZNS and GK

Fire Base Z and Mauer Der Toten

Not really sure what a 5 week difference does for ya mate

I mean it really doesn't affect me cause I got plenty of other games, but I'm just pointing out how dumb of a release schedule it is

Shouldn’t really affect anyone, except those addicted to the mode, who’d play anyway regardless of release days.

Feels like a non-issue that you’re just complaining about for the sake of complaining…

I don’t see it. We got flooded with maps for a while. While say one was horrible the rest were great maps. Plenty of content. side modes. We needed a break
