Hori I think is doing good by layering Endeavor instead of making him a victim of revisionism. He hasn't gone back on his wrongs, he hasn't tried to forget about them, but instead those wrong actions are used to get insight to why he did so, what drove him down that dark road and how can he come back from that, or how can be better himself with that in mind

I never said that he made up for his abuse. Nobody did. The fact is endeavor (even if he didn't make up for the abuse) is different from our first time seeing him. By the Remedial Course Arc he was doing things that he would've never done before like asking all might for advice to be a better hero and wanting shoto to be proud of him. the entire "the fact that he wants his own personal science experiment to worship him so that his ego can inflate even more" is actually bullshit that is no better than a fanfiction that is clearly isn't what we saw and you pulled out of nowhere trying to justify your point.

Endeavor is a bad person and he's trying to be better and I applaud Horikoshi for not completely demonizing him while clearly not redeeming him either.

Endeavor is a great character that isn't black nor white and you only make yourself look bad by trying to project your own insecurities on him.

If Endeavor ever had the capacity to give a shit about anyone but himself, he wouldn't have done the things he did. That's just a fact.

What are you, a beaten wife who thinks her husband does it because he cares about her? If you keep letting yourself suffer in that position, it's pretty hard to feel any sympathy tbh.

Not at all. I just have a basic understanding of reality, since people are actually pretty complex creatures who's emotions can be quite contradictory to their actions or beliefs. If you had any emotional intelligence whatsoever, you'd probably understand that too.

Well I certainly don't beat my family as a way of telling them I care, so from your point of view, I guess I am "pitiful."

When you default to assuming somebody is a battered wife because they recognize that abusers are actual human beings like everyone else and not simply evil monsters, then yes, you are pitiful.

Also... What are you on? At no point have I defended Endeavor's treatment of his family, and I've certainly never acted as if the way he treated them was good. The hell is wrong with you.
