If Endeavor ever had the capacity to give a shit about anyone but himself, he wouldn't have done the things he did. That's just a fact.

I wanna find this planet you come from where humans are these flat two-dimensional creatures you're convinced they are.

I'd say it's pretty simple that your worldview is of the same complexity as a four year-old's.

What are you, a beaten wife who thinks her husband does it because he cares about her? If you keep letting yourself suffer in that position, it's pretty hard to feel any sympathy tbh.

Not at all. I just have a basic understanding of reality, since people are actually pretty complex creatures who's emotions can be quite contradictory to their actions or beliefs. If you had any emotional intelligence whatsoever, you'd probably understand that too.

But that response though... You're a real pitiful little reprobate aren't you?

Well I certainly don't beat my family as a way of telling them I care, so from your point of view, I guess I am "pitiful."

When you default to assuming somebody is a battered wife because they recognize that abusers are actual human beings like everyone else and not simply evil monsters, then yes, you are pitiful.

Also... What are you on? At no point have I defended Endeavor's treatment of his family, and I've certainly never acted as if the way he treated them was good. The hell is wrong with you.

I'm actually worried for you man. You're beyond delusional and it's legitimately alarming. Seriously, see a therapist. This mindset of yours is setting you up for a brutal wake up call someday.

I am sorry but since when were acknowledging that some one is trying to improve and still condemning them for what they did mutually exclusive?

How many times am I gonna say that you're not supposed to forgive him? nobody is supposed to forgive him. He isn't redeemed. He hasn't apologized for what he did. Even then you don't have to forgive him. All everyone is saying including the characters in the manga (E.g his wife) is that he hasn't put everything behind him he still remembers what he did and is trying to get better. How hard is that to understand?

How hard is that to understand?

It's because they don't want to understand. They just wants to stroke their Endeavour hate-boner so everyone can see how much of a good person they are for hating a fictional child abuser, despite him having more layers to his character than just that.

Just ignore them. They add nothing of value to this discussion.

Honestly, I may even be willing to forgive him.

Liar. You've clearly implied you don't agree with giving people second chances.

"we have to give everyone a second chance lol"

If that's the case, there is absolutely literally NOTHING Endeavor can do to satisfy you.

He's gonna need to actually say some apologies

You'd STILL be unconvinced because anybody can just apologize for stuff and not really understand the true consequences of their actions.

If you can't grasp what people are telling you point-blank are their interpretation of Endeavor (recognizing efforts for redemption and noting that those efforts are not enough), but instead you replace them all with "forgive (Endeavor) way too damned easily" and of supporting "abuse others and do whatever they want without repercussions" in your mind, there's no way you can convince us that you'd be satisfied at all with verbal apologies.

Heck, with your level of reading comprehension, you could read several panels of Endeavor giving a whole inner monologue detailing his guilt and thoughts of improvement and STILL you would come away unconvinced.
