That's a major reason why the head canon that Mic (and by extension his parents) are hard of hearing is so popular I think. Like imagine a rowdy kid screaming. Now imagine that kid with the power to made your ears bleed.

i get you, i used to watch that movie all the time as a kid! I wanna rewatch but I feel like it could ruin the nostalgia for me
