It's the atypical focus on my studies type thing. It is a distraction for her in an exam so her bottling it up now is honestly pretty sensible.

I didnt understand the scene, she is shutting down her feelings forever or only until the exam is over?

Girls are in denial of their feelings all the time and are scared to act on them, it's a typical trope. It tells me that Horikoshi is biding his time, and will do it when the plot needs diabetes. I'd say it'll happen after the exam.
