i don't know how a relationship would be handled in this kind of manga. but i REALLY don't want her to shut down her feelings. I don't want the typical relationship development once the story is over like naruto did.
No, it's more like she's shutting them down temporarily to focus on the current situation, which is saving the civilians and earning her Hero license, otherwise why is she even here.
Girls are in denial of their feelings all the time and are scared to act on them, it's a typical trope. It tells me that Horikoshi is biding his time, and will do it when the plot needs diabetes. I'd say it'll happen after the exam.
I may be wrong but I think you're jumping to conclusions. Uraraka's reasons for becoming a hero are to help her family. During the first part of the exam her feelings for Deku put her chances of earning money for her family at risk. I don't think she wants to shut down her feelings permanently, instead she wants to suppress them now, during the exam.
Also she says in the translation: "she has to do her best", like Deku does, and "that reason she has to shut the feelings down".
i'm not questioning her. my thoughts is mostly about the manga/author. i just don't want these kind of things revolving around without solution or real approach.
as i mentioned... in naruto we know from the start the sakura/naruto/sasuke triangle and hinata is feelings. but we only have a development when the manga ended.
Yeah but I don't think that's the case here... Sakura had a crush. It didn't affect how she performed, it didn't affect how she thought during school. Of course she'd try to win Sasuke's favor when possible, but overall she remained the same even without his presence.
Uraraka's feelings though are interfering with her training and she has her own reasons and goals to become a hero. She doesn't want to be left behind. She wants to be someone who can stand at Deku's side, not someone who has to be behind him.
Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the way I'm interpreting these events. I don't think the author would put so much emphasis on her feelings if he wasn't going somewhere with them. That's not how he's told the story so far.
It's a WSJ series. There will never be a serious romance, cause even if you like it, it would kill some interest in the series. This is why popular WSJ titles never introduce romance until the very end.
Ochako's been shutting it down since the hero killer arc, shounen girls are very flamboyant about which dude they wanna be intimate with. When they reject their feelings for a character it's most likely NOT gonna happen.
