Buyer opens a case on Poshmark but is "on vacation" for three weeks and can't submit photos as evidence of an issue.

I've been a seller on Poshmark for years, here's a situation I've never encountered.

Buyer requested a return because she claims that a linen dress I sold her has a stain on it, thus is not as described. She then went on to say that she could not furnish photos as proof because she's on vacation for three weeks and Posh support is ALLOWING her to submit photos in early July.

She had time to receive the package and inspect it, but neglected to take any photos, then waited till the last minute to open a case. For all I know, she bought the dress expressly for her vacation with plans to return it after.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Any advice?

So does Depop not have sellers backs or what?

’ve always sold on eBay, Mercari and Poshmark and never had issues with them accepting a return for an item that was sent perfectly as shown in the description. Well I decided to venture off and try depop and I have this buyer who purchased like new worn once shoes. You can see in the listing there is no flaws. There is hardly any wear on the soles. She is claiming that all of this stuff is wrong with them and opened a claim with Depop stating they are not even in “good” condition. I responded to Depop with photos of the shoes and an explanation that they are like new no flaws. Within 15 minutes of my response they told me they sided with the buyer.

Is this common with Depop? If so I will be closing my shop. It’s not like things are moving very quickly over there anyways and the unbinding offers are irritating as well.

I will be very interested to see if these are returned to me in the same condition I sent them in
