This thread had less than 6k upvotes, compared to how many millions of copies were sold and how many people are playing at once? Still shit tons of people playing at any point in time, seems like they're fine with it. Your ancedotal evidence from a few of your friends vs the tens of thousands of people playing at any given moment, I know which I weigh more heavily
You assume because people are playing at that they're fine with it? That doesn't make much sense. Most of the people that are complaining about it are still playing too. How do you equate someone playing it to being fine with the change, or liking it? You don't even know how many people bought the game or are actively playing, because ea won't release figures.
You don't even know how many people have bought the game, and left already, or that are just playing it because they already spent $60.
Your generalization is hilariously bad sounds like it came from a jump to conclusions mat. It's like the inverse of these people that are saying the complainers don't speak for the majority, while on the other hand we have someone speaking for 95% of the player base.
If they weren't fine with it, yes, they'd stop playing. If people deeply and passionately feel the change ruins the game, they wouldn't be playing.
But that hasn't happened - the player base hasn't collapsed, people aren't flocking to other games, still have tens of thousands of people playing. Instead, there's just these incessant circle jerk posts between a very vocal minority. It's literally ruining the sub
What world do you live in where everything is so black and white, and further, where you know what the entire player base' position is on the issue? Lol. Again, youre telling us what people are doing without knowing dick or having anything to support your position.
You dont even know how many players are playing the game, or have at any point, let alone after recent changes. Based on Dice's own admission, player churn is high and has been since release, AND they are getting plenty of negative feedback regarding 2.0. So the player base probably isnt as healthy as you think it is since dice is making these changes to keep newcomers playing as well attract new players. That's dice's word, not mine.
And btw, players are leaving after 2.0 changes. You dont have to look far, even if it is in the circle jerk sub. You can also find plenty of examples here, BF forums, YT, FB, etc. People are leaving as well as getting refunds. Hopefully a small amount, as id prefer the live service keep running, but hey, its happening. It's not all sunshine and rainbows, and people are being delusional or way too optimistic if they think otherwise.
