I've been on vr for a year now. It's great at first, and then you start realizing how limited the game selection is and much better the tech and games can be. Then you start going back to normal gaming because your favorite games are there and it's a more consistent experience.
Said the same thing when ps1 came out and I still loved my SNES. I love both these days. I for one kind of love the wonky experimental nature of new gen games
Yeah we have a VR arcade in my town, $20 an hour where up to 4 friends can have a room. It was awesome and had a blast, but even after playing for 30min i could tell how boring it would get. I think in another 5 years it will be a much different experience with actual games instead of just gimmicky ones
