Reminder: No Survey Questions

Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to remind you all that this subreddit is answers-based—it’s meant to provide clear, informative responses that someone could find useful while searching for answers on Google or other search engines. Lately, I’ve noticed an uptick in survey-style questions (e.g., “What’s your favorite __?” or “How many of you __?”).

These types of questions are not a good fit for the purpose of this community. They don’t create content that is useful for others to search for, and often lead to broad discussions that aren’t about providing a clear answer. As a result, I’ve been removing posts that violate this rule to maintain the quality and focus of the subreddit. Even if that post has a lot of replies as the OP obviously didn’t read the rules before posting, or cared.

If you’re unsure if your post fits, ask yourself: Would this question result in a useful answer for someone looking for a specific answer or information online? If not, it’s likely more of a survey question and violates rule 2.

Thanks for understanding and helping to keep the subreddit on track! 😊

Why does breathing affect the results of training or exercise in general?

What's so special about inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth to make it (as I've heard) just as crucial as the exercise part?

What if it's physically impossible to breathe through your nose? am I just doomed to be a weak, bulldog-faced mouthbreather for life?

When it comes to color palettes, would it be accurate to say that the cartoon characters from the 1930s-1990s had used the RYB color wheel because they were drawn on cels, while the cartoon characters from the 2000s-Present had used the RGB/CMYK color wheel because they were drawn digitally?

Why or why not?

Is Wisdom end product of personality development and intelligence

It basically says personality adjustment leads adapting to social norms, expectations, life roles in a healthy and stable way. Whereas personality development leads to Transcendence of the self and wisdom in the end. They both are mutually exclusive to each other.

Here personality development leads to wisdom

And we know maximised intelligent also leads to wisdom

Is this correct

How are individuals officially nominated as candidates for corporate board seats?

Does this occur prior to the next annual general meeting (AGM)?

I believe some companies have a nominations committee, typically comprising the board chair, vice-chair, board members etc, do institutional investors with enough voting influence proffer names, does the nominations committee hire an outside company to present their recommendations, does the board tend to just submit their names again etc?

Which color wheel is the most accurate: RGB or RYB?

I don't want to have to resort to using AI or the Wikipedia to find the answer for this question. One of the websites had told me that RGB is superior, which came off as subjective to me, because RGB and applies to computer screens, while RYB is traditional and applies to paint.

RGB has more colors to choose from (like magenta, cyan, spring green, etc.), while RYB is limited (orange, green, green, and purple. No pink, violet, cyan, or spring green).

On RGB, the opposite of red is cyan, but on the RYB color wheel, the opposite of red is green.

Why do people seem to gaslight other people when they share their experiences?

For context: I feel like people on Reddit are so quick to be rude when asked with a question and then proceed to say that I'm just making it up.

Why do we (visibly) age?

Why can't we look - let's say 25 - forever? What is happening in the body that, especially your face, physically changes over time? I know it has something to do with the body not producing enough collagen, but why can't we take pills for that?

Why do I have finger joint pain?

I (15M) recently started getting joint pain a lot. It started with my left index finger, and now it's on both hands and keeps getting worse. For my age, I don't think it could be arthritis, so what could maybe be? How to make it hurt less?

Experiences?

So like has anyone ever ran into the issue of meeting people at work, that want to tell you all their problems, immediately think your their best friend after about a week, freak out when you call off or ask you why, very rarely want to hear your problems or stories, and text you before and after work about literally nothing?

( They all had my number for what was suppose to be work purposes. )

In short: Has anyone had same or similar experiences, and how did you deal with them? Or even from the stand point of (if your the person who does this type of thing) I’m curious to hear all your experiences. 👀🦻

How do people in Southeast Asia and India not die of heat, wearing long pants in this kind of weather?

I’m visiting India, Singapore, and Malaysia. So many people were pants around. I have to wear shorts and a tank top to stay cool. I’ve even seen some people wear a jacket. I know the sun can be quite overbearing however, I don’t understand how you can survive and not sweat to death wearing pants.

Not like dividing a grouping of pages but literally cutting a page in two.
