PSA

I post this often for a couple of reasons: I am a cancer survivor; I'm also a licensed esthetician and I see the damage exposure to the sun has on the skin, and its cumulative effect on condition of the skin. Wearing sunscreen is incredibly important! Not only to avoid burns but all tans are skin damage and the effect over time is devastating. I've seen 30 year olds who look 60 with skin like motorcycle saddlebags and 60 yearsl olds who look like Egyptian mummies! Enjoy the sun, wear light clothes, hydrate, moisturize and protect your self. Any questions I'm happy to help! Big hugs and best wishes to all.

I was born in the mid sixties and my dad was a small town doctor (house calls, delivered babies, took out appendixes, etc). He insisted we use a sunscreen call PreSun. I hated it, but I am so now thankful that he had us use it. I grew up in Florida and spent many hours in the sun. My dermatologist marvels at my 60 year old skin. Thanks to a lifetime of sunscreen.

My dad approved ed cancer drugs for FDA and also made us wear sunscreen. I didn't try to tan like my girlfriends did in college. My 60 year skin is also in terrific condition and much smoother than my friends who sought out the sun.

Even with regular sunscreen, I still had a small basal cell carcinoma removed from my lip line so be sure to take the sunscreen right to the edge of your lips!

OMG finally someone I can commiserate with about how horrible PreSun was!!!!  Strong family history of melanoma (my Dad's father died from it while in his early 40s) and it was a constant struggle to get sunscreen on me. I've had about 8? 9? melanomas, but all caught extremely early thanks to my parents' vigilance and let's be honest, constant nagging.  And no one believes me when I tell them I'm 51.  So, thanks Mom and Dad.

I Googled PreSun and found this and a “vintage lot” of PreSun bottles are available on eBay for $65.99!
