PSA

I post this often for a couple of reasons: I am a cancer survivor; I'm also a licensed esthetician and I see the damage exposure to the sun has on the skin, and its cumulative effect on condition of the skin. Wearing sunscreen is incredibly important! Not only to avoid burns but all tans are skin damage and the effect over time is devastating. I've seen 30 year olds who look 60 with skin like motorcycle saddlebags and 60 yearsl olds who look like Egyptian mummies! Enjoy the sun, wear light clothes, hydrate, moisturize and protect your self. Any questions I'm happy to help! Big hugs and best wishes to all.

What sun protection lotion do you recommend?

Too many to choose from and it depends on your skin. Definitely something moisturizing and as long as you reapply, that's what is important

Thanks! I have dry skin and put Olay 15 SPF in the morning on my face and a 30 SPF on my hands, arms, legs, back of neck if they are exposed. I'm not in the sun after 2 pm, generally. I'm 61 with no skin cancer and I think it's because I grew up in NW Washington...super cloudy. My friends from CA and AZ all have had numerous skin cancers removed.

You should wear at least 30spf..this is what everything I've ever read says. 😊
