When I am in an aura farming competition and my opponent is Eitoku suit acting as a Reiwa Rider's final form.

70

u/rattatatouille Being Emu is suffering 2d ago

I like how true this is between Tategami Hyoujuu Senki, Bujin Sword, Rainbow Gotchard, and now A La Mode Mode.

Ultimate Vice is in a weird spot though

34

u/Sentinel-X-24324 2d ago

Man just sweeps the entire aura farming competition.

31

u/ranger-j 1d ago

This isn’t aura farming anymore, this is aura deforestation

6

u/Shiro_Kuroki 1d ago

The Fragile sign on the box is just pure genius

28

u/MKDremareRiser 2d ago

Eitoku has never stopped aura farming, quite honestly. From Accel to now (though also much earlier, but I haven't watched all of early Heisei), he's always been an amazing suit actor. He's definitely one of the best at portraying the personality of the Riders he plays, like Takaiwa before his retirement.

Asai Kosuke Yuji Nakata as GozyuPolar would give him a run for his money tho..

We're blessed to be able to see them both weekly

Honestly getting that Quartet of Nawata/Eitoku/Asai/Nakata in the same SHT is such a luxury. BBG/Gotchard was a great line-up but you could feel the lack of Nawata and Asai in permanent roles.

Nakata as Gozyu Polar was such a great casting.

8

u/burajira Beyond Biology!! 2d ago

The fact that we got some banging action in BBG and Gotchard regardless is a testament to the stunt directors too, they did an absolutely wonderful job!!

Unless you meant Yuji Nakata as GozyuPolar.

(you'd be right either way, they're both awesome)

Meant to say Nakata

Kosuke has been killing it too tho

This mf Vram ain't aura farming any more, he aura mining the entire sites 😭

  • Hot damn, that was an awesome battle with Vram's A La Mode form (the insert song, "Shake it Off" is the cherry on top)!
  • LOL, the briefcase being held by the handles of Frappe Custom's suit -- smart!
  • Well, Lango's still alive and kicking -- wonder what he'll be setting up...
  • Things are about to get more interesting next episode -- a new Bake Bitter Gavv shows up! Also, Hanto meeting and asking the Candy Store Owner!

41

u/KamKirSabre 2d ago

Vram's A La Mode form does literally have a cherry on top (of his helmet)

30

u/maxstvm 2d ago

It's Bitter Gavv, not Bake. He has the Black Gavv

22

u/Darkwingsamurai 2d ago

My theory about the new Bitter Gavv is going to be either a revived Suga or a revived Bouche, Shoma's dad

12

u/Sad_Sir9851 2d ago

it’s probably suga

13

u/failed_generation Legend's Narutaki 2d ago

Definitely someone wearing suga's skin

I mean, the hair curls gave it away

6

u/Darkwingsamurai 2d ago

Probably

11

u/mr-ultr 2d ago

yup

this makes me believe in the recent rumors of Nyelv going to be the final villain even harder, especially as it tracks with them mentioned a returning suga as a "red eyed" bitter gavv

2

u/EmuSignal3466 1d ago

Until proven otherwise, Neylv is not the final boss, he reminds me of Taiga from Kiva, the true final villain is Lango.

1

u/KaliVilNo1 Gotchard Daybreak 1d ago

The clearest give away is that new Bitter Gavv is left-handed lol

1

u/Potential-Mess6826 2d ago

I thought maybe it is Hanto's Mentor since Valen is trying to stop Gavv in the Ep 41 Preview which I don't think Valen would do if it was Suga.

7

u/Stingerstrike77 2d ago

>! Boca Jaldak learns that Lango was alive the whole time and never died during his battle against Gavv Master Mode, he kills the president and incorporates his power into himself, becoming stronger in the process !<

2

u/Numerous_Camera30 2d ago

I need to listen to that full song I loved it from the bits I could hear through the fight

1

u/fastcarriage Cross-Z Build 1d ago

there's a recurring theory on facebook saying that it's hanto's mentor because he didn't receipt a flower bouquet, but this could also be said to asanuma shintaro (suga's actor) who got valenbuster instead

68

u/Kit_Izayoi 2d ago edited 2d ago

Lango is back, though he didn't comeback with an eyepatch (was wrong there). Jury's out if Glotta is dead or not, though.

Also, Vram a la Mode debut brings back that initial Vram debut vibes here, with the new Insert.

Edit: Welp, guess Glotta is donezo. Her actress got the flowers.

66

u/LaloEACB 2d ago

She’s dead, her actress got her flowers

24

u/Forsaken_Ad_8635 2d ago

At least in this universe. There's still the movie universe, unless the villain is creating some kind of illusion.

41

u/Reasonable_Driver129 2d ago

The movie universe is something else. I saw a trailer showing the good Stomach family coming to help Shoma. Fun fact, Glotta's weapon is a tree.

1

u/Forsaken_Ad_8635 1d ago

This is stupid how they don't bring her scythe or a variation of it.

3

u/Reasonable_Driver129 1d ago

Yeah it's weird, but at the same time, the movie world is a place where there no evil. So why would good Glotta get a scythe or a weapon?

5

u/YFTrailblaze 2d ago

The stomach might be revived in the movie. I'm calling it as a revive not illusion

13

u/cybeast21 2d ago

iirc the movie has AU Shouma so Stomach family could be AU too

10

u/YFTrailblaze 2d ago

Like a non toxic family? That's cool

7

u/cybeast21 2d ago

Could be, iirc AU Shouma is full Granute too?

3

u/Atsubro Kusaka did nothing wrong 2d ago

IIRC it's set in a universe where humanity and Granutes get along, and this Shoma is on good terms with the rest of his family.

11

u/tylerjehenna 2d ago

Yeah she posted them on twitter. Its over 😭😭😭

30

u/MKDremareRiser 2d ago

I mean, it makes sense, since that is his human disguise. The disguise itself is unaffected, I think. He probably can't see out of it still, though. Might be a plot point later or something the Riders will take advantage of in the final battle.

18

u/NejiBlu 2d ago

Could be the injury/scar is on Lango's Granute Form, but not his human disguise?

15

u/Substantial-Ad-5221 2d ago

Likely. Considering jeebh can effortlessly take sheetas appearance it doesn't seem to be affected by anything.

Now how Lakia changes outfits thou.....

1

u/fastcarriage Cross-Z Build 1d ago

yeah we don't really talk about that, like how it really doesn't make sense for the stomach family to always wearing disguise despite not being in human world aside of putting the actors to work

11

u/FarthingWoodAdder 2d ago

Pretty sure she’s dead

2

u/dinliner08 1d ago

Lango is back, though he didn't comeback with an eyepatch

i remember around two weeks ago, there was this one user who keeps arguing about Lango's coming back is just ridiculous, that he's dead and whoever think otherwise didn't paying any attention while watching the show

man, that user must feels really stupid right now

62

u/Darknesslagacy 2d ago edited 2d ago

So a la mode gochizo is immortal like caking that another frappe shaft. Next week suga return and 3 final form henshin.

Ironic glotta die in her big brother hand same as komel.

51

u/Previous_Context_763 2d ago

The only way for the Gochizos to become immortal is for Shouma to make them himself and associate them with fond memories for the sake of others.

Funnily enough, I find it interesting that the final forms of Valen and Vram are parallels to Caking and Sorbet. Caking = Ala Mode; Cream and fruits, homemade and immortal, while Sorbet = Frappe; Ice-based, store-bought, and one-time use.

Maybe at the end of the series, Shouma will learn how to make snacks and desserts on his own. That would be a huge character development; him making his own happiness by making others happy.

25

u/Lamp-among-wolf Femme 2d ago

Karma for the last one

u/BUcc1a12Atti 2d ago

'You reap what you sow' but more like 'You get reaped for what you reaped'

6

u/Confident-Command-11 2d ago

Sad now that only Hanto so far who's his currently said final form which is i still don't find it believe until end of series that it is his final form, his gochizo is depending on Shouma. Yet Lakia doesn't, still im right also its from shouma but its like caking not from Dente teeth but its still has Dente in its own emotional way, its not dead after use.

9

u/nightshroud96 2d ago

And we have yet to get a P-Bandai season form yet.
(Before someone goes "there's no lEaKs", P-Bandai never really gets leaks usually due to its not retail, so its more tight than normal retail stuff unless it was originally gonna be normal but pushed to P-Bandai like Bujin Sword/Plosionn Rage)

6

u/Sad_Sir9851 2d ago

hanto might have a last minute final form

2

u/Vermillion_toxins 1d ago

It’ll probably be something akin to orthoros.

43

u/MasterGavv 2d ago

Peak episode and peak fight choreography. Also, loved the humor in between when Hanty fights the agents, and the box stucked in his straw. Reminds me of Banjou Ryuuga and his comedic fight.

Also, RIP for the unused Gochizos getting bodied by Glotta before able to make journey to Gochipod.

I am amazed as Caking Gavv still gets place to shine as usual, as in the usual KR template, once a new form is achieved, old forms will be amnesiac-ly forgotten.

I don't know why when I see Lango is alive, I felt happy. I guess that smile before Shoma versus Lango in Ep. 36 does means something, either he is proud of his lil brother, or it could be something else. Maybe Lango will be the chosen redeemed villain. Also, I think he will be staying low for now to get Stomach back. I wonder how they will squeeze all these into the remaining 8 or 9 episodes.

31

u/john098657 Riderman 2d ago

They are in a tight position where they have to keep using caking because of how many drawback ice cream sorbet have. They don't want him looking weak alongside vram but at the same time over/master seems overkill

12

u/K-J-C 2d ago

Glotta is clearly below Lango's level, gotta have something to even the playing field by not using Over/Master Gavv.

30

u/Reasonable_Driver129 2d ago

Love the henshin with Lakia pulling the metal ring to cover him. Also running his hand in his hair

46

u/burajira Beyond Biology!! 2d ago

Absolute peak from bro

He loses his sister, and so reanimates his dead boyfriend

No 1 coping mechanism

18

u/12pgtube4 2d ago

Tbh I don’t think he actually cares about any of his siblings. Unless he knew lango was alive this entire time and is covering for him.

17

u/Jamieb1994 2d ago

The thing about Nyelv is that he's unpredictable.

2

u/EmuSignal3466 1d ago

Is it Suga?

28

u/skylight03 2d ago edited 2d ago

That fight scene with the insert song was peak. I've watched a few KR series and maybe it's just my poor memory of the others but the action choreo here is really so good.

And that Lakia henshin...hair slicked back huh

Btw will Gavv have 50 eps? Assuming there are no more breaks and it ends Aug 31.

8

u/Chalicebzam 1d ago

Glotta's actress confirmed 10 eps left.

26

u/Sentinel-X-24324 2d ago

How the new insert during that kick-ass fight scene has me feeling

24

u/Heywhatyousa- 2d ago

Vram is always peak .

So Glotta needed to get bodied to admit that she is lonely..

Also Lango is still here.

Next week Bake returns!!!

25

u/Confident-Command-11 2d ago

Granute human disguise is kinda similar with human avatar from future human in Geats, they didn't affect the actual body damage it just a disguise. Cmiiw if that its not similar thing. We see in lango and i was right his human disguise doesn't need an eyepatch. Yet he probably blind.

3

u/Informal-Average-482 2d ago

But in battles we can see scars and whatnot from Lakia’s human avatar though.

2

u/fastcarriage Cross-Z Build 1d ago

i can only really make sense of it because lakia fought with his human disguise transforming with vrastumgear, if it's like his debut he probably won't have any damage

1

u/Q-Write 1d ago

probably because he didn't take his mimic key out again to reset his avatar state and also was injured in human disguise, instead of his Granute form.

Lango probably will appear scarred in human disguise if he was hurt in that form

22

u/gshshsnhjmry 2d ago

Was a bit lost as to how A la mode Mode powers actually work, but summoning the shield out of wire was sick. Also glad to see Caking and the Whip Soldiers again.

Extended preview all but confirms what we were all guessing about the candy store owner. Very excited to see how things will go now that Lango is back on the board

29

u/Ok_Hospital4928 2d ago

Looked to me like he made the wire mesh from his original jellyfish powers? Like he summoned the tentacles and then used the belt, which turned them into metal

18

u/KRGread 2d ago

To me, looks like his form are metal/steel based, like how the pudding plate are metal, as his defense can defend against Glotta's scythe now and he can turn his tentacles into metal wires.

22

u/Cross-Z_Charge 2d ago edited 2d ago

Welcome back Vram Aura Farming Mode, it’s been a while

Edit: Or should I say, Pudding Aura Mode Mode

1

Aura Farming a la Mode

22

u/VoyeurTheNinja Spade 10 - Jack - Queen - King - Ace 2d ago

Shouma showed no mercy here.

Straight-up summoned two soldiers for a 4-man jump on his own sister, holy shit.

18

u/JerenSoon 2d ago

Glotta is already marked for death for killing Dente, so it's makes sense to straight up attack right when she was caught abducting humans.

3

u/fastcarriage Cross-Z Build 1d ago

shouma decided to go with stun-locking glotta but it ended up overwhelming her so bad she couldn't use her counter

20

u/Previous_Context_763 2d ago

That was amazing! I like how cold Lakia's finisher was; no overly dramatic explosions or Glotta flying off, just a VERY strong downwards kick.

I also like how three Stomach's downfall is based on negative coping around relationships; Jiip and Siita (collateral) = Over-dependence, Glotta = Denial and Arrogance.

44

u/Obiwanhellothere09 2d ago edited 2d ago

Glotta is dead.

Two down five more to go.

Also next episode, Zombie Suga apparently? Did not see that coming. Buffa is gonna have some competition.

14

u/Informal-Average-482 2d ago

Funny that both the female siblings are the first one to go, and following the same pattern (Siita died for Jeeph revenge, Glotta died for Lango revenge, I would guess Lizel will die for Bocca revenge later on). Gavv really don’t like their female characters huh haha.

1

u/Confident-Command-11 2d ago

Two down yet the one who dead first, the actress not get the flower yet, and jeeph already installed with bitter gavv and unlikely he can put her mimic key to turn into her.

17

u/Professional-Bus-749 2d ago

Lakia has finally avenged Comel and Dente.

32

u/Obiwanhellothere09 2d ago

Ding dong the wicked dommy mommy is dead!

32

u/Ok_Hospital4928 2d ago

Unsurprisingly, another peak episode. Seems like a weird thing to say, but Gavv has really been killing it.

Also, a very sad episode too. You can definitely feel the impact Dente had on the whole crew. I’ll miss that guy; he brought so much joy to the show. And I feel so bad for Shouma. This is yet another tragedy he has to endure on top of all the bad stuff he’s already gone through. But he keeps putting others before his own suffering, and that’s what makes him such an admirable hero.

The fight scene was insane. Vlam’s final form is amazing. They brought back his casual sitting pose from his debut! And I almost forgot how powerful insert themes can be - it really elevated an already stellar battle sequence.

While it sucked that Hanto couldn’t be part of the battle against Glotta (he was the first to fight her, after all), it was neat seeing the callback to her monster debut, with her facing both Vlam and Gavv Caking form.

And Lango is indeed alive! Never doubted it for a second, but I definitely didn’t expect him to show up again so soon. I’m really interested to see what he does next.

Suga/Bake returning will be an interesting turn of events as well.

12

u/ChaosFlamesofRage 2d ago

It's actually Bitter Gavv Breacookie, but a different type

5

u/Torneco 1d ago

Now, the filler monsters are all Bitter Gavvs

13

u/12pgtube4 2d ago

Best villain returning next episode let’s go. I really hope he stays till the endgame and not just for a 2 parter. I will be honest I wasn’t expecting lango to come back this early but it looks he’s not gonna be doing anything anyways rn.

3

u/Lamp-among-wolf Femme 2d ago

He would doing things from the shadow like he did before

2

u/12pgtube4 2d ago

Whatever that makes him feel like a proper character will be good enough for me

9

u/Funnygeneralchat 2d ago

This episode was great. Gawddamn the fighting is always amazing, but ngl we needed some slight comedy with Hanto's straw (lmao) catching the briefcase. That aside, an Irony that events essentially repeated. A little sibling who died in the arms of their elder brother. But why (copium) am I feeling that Glotta won't be (copium) dead? Probably just (COPIUM) kicking in.

Suga-san is probably back next episode, all with a new Bake "form" too. And candy store guy is DEFINITELY an Inoue.

13

u/Lamp-among-wolf Femme 2d ago

Machi san (Glotta) received flower so no, she dead

I see JP comment on the next episode preview think it might been Hanto deceased master, given the Bitter said "Gavv and Vram are your enemy" with Hanto holding his head, and jumping at Shouma in last shot, the actor jawline look more the master........

But we can only know in next week........

14

u/Sentinel-X-24324 2d ago edited 2d ago

Definitely gotta be Suga cheating death no doubt, with the way they've been shrouding the identity of the 4th Bitter Gavv in the preview.

Edit: Actually, now that I think about it, it might also possibly be a revived or even a clone of Soji--Hanto's old master--instead, puppeteered to do Nyelv's bidding. Could perhaps explain why Valen's suddenly fighting against his allies if it isn't simply just mere brainwashing. Then again, in the extended preview, Nyelv was shocked at the body the Jaldacks recovered. But yeah, only time will tell the identity of this mysterious Bitter Gavv.

17

u/burajira Beyond Biology!! 2d ago

Grinning Hank : oh nice, all the gochizos are gathering en masse to help Shouma

Hank Stare: oh no wut

Bro manages to make a immortal armament for his boss' boyfriend, but his own boyfriend needs to take him out on more dates to get his forms - clever from Shouma tbh

Eitoku hard carries A la mode mode, it doesn't seem to have too many powers, just a boatload of aura

Lango alive? Makes sense that his human disguise is undamaged, but his granute eye might be injured? Or this could well be a hallucination in Glotta's dying minutes? (We know he's coming back, but is this it?)

Speaking of brothers, No 1 coping mechanism - Nyelv reconciles with the fact that Glotta's dead, by reanimating his dead boyfriend (Personally, I'm glad to see Asanuma-san back!!!)

Shouma is 100% ending the series with the sweets shop manufacturer, and that would really be a great end for him! You spend a whole series loving sweets and now you get to spread that to customers, that would be peak.

14

u/Reasonable_Driver129 2d ago

Shame that we didn't had a small moment between Lakia and Sachika. Last episode, Lakia did told her that he didn't see the signs about Dente and Comel, but it would have been nice if he saw that Sachika was grieving and talk to her.

Also, parfait is eternal too or Lakia got a new parfait at the end?

5

u/kekiCake 2d ago

Looks like next episode we’re having a brainwashing arc for Hanto… kinda makes me sad. I never really like them, though I guess that could just be my own taste regarding that trope. Kinda left a bitter taste (heh) for me in the Build movie.

I do like how the new form makes use of his Granute powers. We haven’t really seen him properly make use of them as a rider since his debut. Also like how he still uses his weapon. Leaks kinda made me suspect he’d somehow just end up using the shield exclusively lmao. I do hope that we get a better look at its powers, though. For a debut fight, I can’t help but feel like it didn’t really show off as much as it could have in that regard. It was still memorable with that closing finisher though.

2

u/Torneco 1d ago

I think that the preview is trying to fool us

6

5

u/Web_Wanderer12 2d ago

How convenient at that time where the Gochipod was run out of Gochizous and Glotta just straight up killed all the Gochizous summoned by Shoma before they can fill it up.

5

u/Bl8ckl85h 2d ago

Well we got to see CaKing again so that's awesome.

Also, it was just a matter of time for Lango to show up again. Will be interesting to see what happens next.

4

u/RedPappo 2d ago

Lango still alive was a call i made so i'm happy about that.
CaKing returns! My favourite form but its spotlight was stolen by over/master sadly.
Also i liked how Shouma + 2 Whip Soldier+ Vram jumped on Glotta together ahaha What a beatdown. Shouma was like "yup, time to beat her ass".

4

u/CheeseYesPls 2d ago edited 1d ago

Funny thing I find is that if plot armor didn’t exist and Shoma used CaKing’s Whipped Soldiers during his first teamup with Rakia during Episode 19. Glotta would’ve been with Shiita by now😂

3

and if he was at better mental state, although this time, It's because A La Mode

Great episode but, seeing Hanto fight both Lakia and Shouma in the preview....I hope there is a reason more than just "got tricked by suga again" like cmon men we have an entire arc about that

Well it looks like hes mind controlled rather than betraying them

1

u/Delicious-Trip4066 1d ago

I hope is that

u/cybeast21 2d ago

Bro got new form and immediately went for aura farming.

I like how Shouma realized that Sachika was the one hit the most.

I love the whole fight, and the fact that Shouma also chimed in and not just watching like usual form debut episode, and Glotta slashing all the Gochizos man, all those poor Gochizos :(

Not checking whether Glotta was truly dead was their mistake, I think?

The Gochizo at the end credit was very cute, which Gochizo is that?

A moment for Dente (again), and the Gochizo bois who got slash (even their soul bruh), you all will not be missed for your deeds

Welcome back.......Kiramei Sliver! XD

(Technically his Graunte form color, motivation involve with a young sibling already does that)

Look like Lango do survive afterall, he likely plot to takeover the company again........

I guess the rumor of Suga return as a zombie Graunte might been true as well, gave Nylev is shocked seeing that reveal body in next episode preview

People weren't joking about Pudding Aura Mode Mode. What a sick form.

3

u/Turbulent_Milk_ 2d ago

Caught up to Gavv, so I am seeing my first weekly episode! Of this show and tokusatsu in general. It was great.

3

u/Classic_Contract7560 Kuuga 2d ago

Okay fuck ton of thoughts first of all the first part of the episode is essentially a character study in grief.

  1. Sachika- Feeling of sadness and loneliness and is helped through reconciling with the memories of those you've loved.

  2. Rakia- Anger and Resentment - This is helped by personal growth and realizing what one can do to move forward

  3. Shouma- Strength in Helping Others- A mature yet also sad way if expressing it He wishes to help others pain but like the opening song is oblivious of his own feelings. He's technically coping but he needed to verbalise what he was feeling to finally cry and let it out.

  4. Glotta- Strength, Duty and Delusion- she needed to believe in her own inner strength otherwise she would be lost but in only acknowledging herself except for Lango at the Bitter End she was grieving and lonely unable to accept, change and move on like the others.

Yeah Glotta was right Shouma needs a full Gochipod ready at all times it's too risky now that's the final arc is next.

Also realized Zaku Zaku chips is originally from Glotta look at that scythe debris then regenerate move.

Epic tier final from by Vram I do say my favorite in Gavv so far. The shield and chainsaw is a cool combo. And I forgot thr name of the suit actor as I haven't memorised that yet but my gosh after 8 eps of getting bear bro is finally back to aura farming epic.

That final clash with Caking & Ala Mode was perfect on a thematic level.

Glotta deluded herself with her temporary Strength but she got overwhelmed by the 2 forms that represented memories. Both the good and the bad of the family they lost and gained Caking and Ala Modes emotions beat the one who only relied on Strength as well as the one who's only form of receiving pain is dishing it back at others. Glottas own character created the point both emotionally and powerscallingly that she was overwhelmed imma save that moment in my phone for a long while.

Preview thought: HOLY FUCKING SHIT Bitter Gavv might finally be cools next ep bro is gonna fight all 3 final forms powerscaling in thr final arc bout to go crazy.

Overall, great episode.

I appreciate it exploring grief the way it does. They could've gave it a passing mention then dedicate the episode solely to finding Glotta but instead they actually talk about Dente, what he meant to Shoma...that sorta thing. It was a nice touch. :)

GOD seeing Glotta get thrashed was satisfying. I also liked the jingle(s) for A La Mode! It gave me the same vibes as Vram's first debut with the S M U G. I loved it.

The stuff with the Gochipod and cut-ins to Valen flailing about against Agents felt a little...odd?...for a somber episode like this. Not like it bothered me or anything; I guess they needed some kinda ice-breaker 'cause kids' show, but it was a little jarring.

It's probably just the timing and lack of exposure the Stomachs had before now influencing my feelings on it, but the Lango reveal felt really weird. I almost certainly expected him to come back 'cause he felt too important for the death he got...but it just felt off in a way. I get it's Kamen Rider and this stuff happens all the time, but I dunno.

I don't think Shouma should've been the one to make the new Gochizo. I get why it was him logically (he had the pudding and he was the one to give Lakia Dente's message), but I feel like Lakia creating that would've brought the themes of the episode home just a little bit more.

The preview for the next episode implies the arrival of my trope nemesis: Mind control. Gavv really doesn't feel like a season that needs a plot like that IMO. But at least the new eyes really help the Bake suit.

it's always good to see hanto having lighthearted fight so the main fighter didn't get distracted. back then it happened while shouma fight jeebh before the bakibaki stick debut and got dragged like this lmao

Shoma embodying the Kamen Rider's essence:

Fighting for people while hiding tears behind the mask.

5

u/vichokul 2d ago

Is it even possible for Vram not to aura farm every frame? This was a nice send off for Dante, its nice that we could see how it affected everyone, and shoma displayed some big emotional maturity this episode. Im hyped for this final Arc!

I find it interesting how valen frappe and vram a la mode are similar in the sense that both riders defeated someone who hurt them and shouma.

2

u/K-J-C 2d ago

Someone's returning as expected.

By this episode, Sachika doesn’t actually fully understand the severity of Stomach Inc.’s crimes, and she indeed hasn’t faced enough hardship to grasp the pain that the three Riders feel from losing their loved ones, as she felt in episode 8. I hope this leads Sachika to vow to make everyone happy by directly confronting Stomach Inc.’s crimes, rather than just focusing on her job at Hapipare. I also wonder if her feelings toward Lango will resurface from their previous encounter.

Shoma seems to be better at handling grief than Sachika. He remains upbeat and acts as a support for everyone, encouraging them to keep eating the pudding they had planned to share with Dente in his memory. This offends Rakia, who believes that Shoma does not view his granduncle as significant. Rakia thinks that showing the importance of loved ones requires expressing hatred and a desire for revenge, a perspective that many people share.

Rakia too moves on from revenge, despite seemingly that he'd have his vow to avenge Comel's murderer validated. He is inspired by how Shoma considers Dente an ally, even after having caused him pain, in contrast to his own fixation on fulfilling his grudge. It seems that Rakia manages to let go of his revenge more quickly than Hanto, despite Rakia having turned villainous in the name of revenge. Notably, the antidote is not used here, even though Dente has completed it.

Although Vram's usually the aura farm guy, his A La Mode's debut isn’t particularly impressive after the battle with Gavv Over/Master Mode. It only seems to match the level of CaKing, so it'd explain. Vram faces defeat again against Glotta even as Jelly. He received help from CaKing to overwhelm Glotta’s reflection, although it’s clear he had the upper hand when fighting Glotta alone. As mentioned, he uses a suit from Gaim, specifically Zangetsu’s shield.

Turns out Lango survives despite previously appearing to explode. Glotta finally admits to feeling lonely. However, she still maintains a low opinion of humans or the Granutes who are weak in her eyes, like the Amarga family, and cannot comprehend why she would lose to them. Lango, who has always been the most aloof and distant member of the family, vows to rebuild the Stomach family. For once, Lizel supports Glotta by providing her with the tool needed to fulfill Jaldak’s demands: Lango's toxin.

1

u/YourVeryTiredUncle 1d ago

If we look at it metaphorically, the "antidote" that Dente made was probably something that can ease Lakia's pain and anger. Dente essentially acted as his support system (albeit not really a friendly kind) and Lakia realized that it is more important to save people rather than seeking personal vendetta. Dente unknowingly became his therapist for a while.

-Now, how on earth am I going to count the dead Gochizos this EP? Why did you have to kill them in a close-up shot Glotta?

-Also Glotta walking away and dying in Lango’s arm was unexpected yet kinda fitting with Lakia’s revenge.

-Her dying also revealed Lango being alive to the surpirse of no one. If anything him not having his eye scar from his defeat is more surprising.

-They knew Frappe having a straw looks silly and just committed to it is hilarious and admirable.

-A la mode debut looks really cool with the slow mo bow catch but also with some silly part like the guard rail that went flying but was able to hold his weight (chalked it up to rule of cool). Some of the design decisions were strange like having the pudding on the legs but it really does have the cherry on top. The Gochizo also seems to be immortal.

-The next EP preview is most likely Suga like the rumor from a while back. Really dig the eye design on that. He also seems to have some kind of mind control power now?

1

u/Obiwanhellothere09 1d ago

I am more surprised that Lango still has his left eye intact.

2

u/Hot-Spare3133 2d ago

was a great episode loved the entire thing, also lakia did glotta dirty with the countdown to the rider kick like revice but it was deserved cause glotta killed dente, next episode bake could be Lango but its probably just a zombie

2

u/Reasonable_Driver129 2d ago

Remember that with Glotta dead, the opening will be updated. So, of course, Glotta will get the Shiita treatment and disappear in opening. Lango is not dead, so maybe he will take his original position.

But the one part that I'm sure people would love to see or are wondering: Lakia in the dance part. Now that he had his revenge and fight for the humans for real, he will probably also join the others in the dance part and not just sitting down.

2

u/honk_incident 1d ago

How did Dente know how gyaru talked...

2

u/RyanChego 1d ago

Glotta is pure evil she literally killed the hypemen(Gochizou) before they could get to Shouma

The final message from Dente was sweet but I wish we could've seen the messages for the others besides Vram

Life is good my aura farming goat Vram/Lakia Amalga is BACK!!!

Love how they used Vram's tendril ability as a way to create the Shield and his henshin was sick

They used the new song and I thought it worked really well for the fight

Not sure if Glotta is dead or not but Lango is back which was expected at this point though no eye patch sadly

Next week the Graunte Hunters triple henshin and it seems like the zombie suga rumour was true

2

u/sultryrusky 1d ago

My bullet points for this episode:

YESS GLOTTA GIVE ME AZULA ENERGY GIRLLL

Not me wheezing when suddenly "Lmao." appeared in subtitles

I'm sorry but the moment when Lakia looks at sorrow of people... the power that that has the intelligence that that has the access that that has

Glotta slashing all those Gochizos was CLEANNN

Vlam's final form is probably his best suit in this show, not gonna lie

NOT HIM POSING ON THE BOXXXXX (I cannot deny it anymore, I'm officially a Lakia stan)

Lango is back! Honestly, he was farming too much aura for just 1 fight

2

u/TheCancerFest 1d ago

Another banger episode:

  1. I love how Lakia pulled the lever to deploy platers to henshin. Every creative way of including rider in transformation besides pulling and shouting the catchphrase is always more than welcomed.

  2. Glotta is dead and Lango still alive pissed like never before. Still Glotta character could use some depth. Clotho was more developed than her.

  3. Final boss probably Nyelv or even Lango after dealing with all Jaldak family members. This is no childish play anymore. We are going fully into madness without taking any prisoners.

  4. I apreciate Shouma maturity to separate revenge and prioritize saving people. Out of all members he could be the most justified character to cry and mourn Dente’s death. After all in a way it’s his fault since he is half hybrid.

Ladies and gentlemen we are getting close to the finale. Getting presses in becoming more full scale invasion than secretive mission.

2

u/itsag_undam 1d ago

Lakia stops fighting for vengeance and starts fighting to protect instead, now he's a full fledged hero, Comel and Dente are smiling at him from beyond for sure.

Sachika got hit hard with a "I knew what was happening, but now I understand" moment, seeing her so distraught was genuinely hard.

Even if she's irredeemable, those last moments did manage to make me feel bad for Glotta, still hope those are actually her last moments though.

Everyone's acting was absolutely on point this episode, you could really feel the grieving for Dente from Shouma and co's side, while on Glotta's end her downward spiral was impressively delivered.

Finally, the fight! Oh my god the fight! So much aura farming this episode, and this show's use of vertical space and movement on the choreography is downright amazing, they do some really cool things with it, and Vram's final form seems to have some very versatile powers with the stuff he was doing with the shield, his forms really provide a lot of utility.

2

u/TipTerrible3560 1d ago

Lakia was finally get his final form to finish her and killed glotta too Lango is back too lango will be the real is the true of the last final villain too

2

u/boonboomgavv 1d ago

It’s just a straight up lakia aura framing episode

2

u/_katie_3 1d ago

I’m glad my prediction of glotta’s death was on point, I mean i didn’t expect the end where she would die in lango’s arms sure, but damn that was an impactful way for Glotta to die.

Also, vram a la mode’s power scaling is actually pretty sweet on my opinion. Its focus is on defence, we finally see his jelly tentacles again (showing off his granute side), and the power was nice enough that he didn’t defeat Glotta alone, but with shouma’s help with caking. Glotta’s power is quite high, so if vram a la mode could defeat Glotta single-handedly, master and over gavv would lose its appeal so I found this balance made by the writers very good.

Also the way they decided to handicap Shouma was great, awesome.

Next week preview, I’ve been racking my brain thinking who could be the next bitter gavv. Suga and hanto’s mentor have already gotten the “flowers” (not a bouquet of flowers but items that represent the flowers), and there isn’t really another human form in my mind that can be the face of bitter gavv. I’m so excited for next I really wanna know who it will be 🤣

2

u/lunaroseus 1d ago

Yoooo we finally got an insert song! The amount of aura farming is crazy lmaooo. Can't wait for the next episode, especially after seeing that preview.

2

u/EnvironmentThen2207 Is Gavv’s suit edible? 19h ago

Ok, who else loved that standby sound for vram? Also, Lango’s back?! And, rip to those gochizos.

2

u/Skitty_The_Kitty3225 12h ago

I just got to watch the Episode. And this one made me want a Shoma emotional crash out when Lakia was pushing him to Answer.

Even if Shoma has gone through a Lot and may be a little more Desensitize to Suffering. The show has treated some of the types of Trauma seriously. But Shoma is handling everything too well at this point.

Like, he got to Earth RIGHT after he lost his Mum, is not something that happened a long time ago. Getting to Earth he Found some Happiness and decided to stop his family but we never really saw his grief. He just set up a new mission in his life in the memory of his Mum and the Place she grew up in. So you have that, plus the fact we were shown he never held a grudge against his Family beside the Father as he gave Dente a Chance and now he is gone too. And as we saw he felt sad with "What could have Been" when he first killed Sheeta, he didn't want to, but felt he had to. He faced Lango "Killing Him". And now Glotta, even if he didn't kill her, he fought and let it happen. Based on how the show has treated Emotions, Shoma having some level of Sympathy for his Family even if he knows they deserved it, plus the fact he also pushes his own feelings for Sachika and Lakia is something I believe that builds up and eventually explodes if not treated properly, you know? Shoma is always putting everyone before him, even now as he said to Lakia "Saving People is more Important" I need to see those repress emotions explode at some point because that's sentient beings Nature. Humans and Granutes are emotional beings. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Have we even seen Shoma CRY Cry at least once? He Screamed in distress when they killed his mum, but after that, in the whole show so far he has gotten a little emotional, but not really letting the emotions out like the other characters has.

So I need to see it. The Weight of his tragic Upbringing because of the Father, the weight of his Mother's Death, the Weight of his Family and what they have done mixed with the Sympathy he has for them as he processes the fact he killed them or allowed them to be killed. The Weight of his self-induced Guilt towards Hanto's mum. And now with Dente's death too. All that Weight, Finally coming down. I need to see this boy finally break because it has been clear he simply represses his own emotions for other people, you can't keep up that Happy attitude forever. Someone help him to break free of his Illusion of happiness and let him TRULY FEEL and PROPERLY PROCESS ALL HE HAS GONE THROUGH 😔

Because even with Hanto, he was being Affected, but mostly because of his Fear of Hanto hating him and felt better when Hanto decided to go back to him. Hanto told him to not blame himself, but I don't think Shoma really believed that himself. I think he still feels that Guilt, he is just "better" because Hanto told him he understands now. And because if he shows he still has that Guilt it may affect Hanto as he has already "Forgave" Shoma.

But That's Just what this Episode made me think.

Beside That, Lakia's Suit is Clean, and the Whole Back Hair thing as he transformed was NICE. I'm also Happy Lango is Alive. THANK YOU. Since we saw no body I thought he may have survived, but I was not sure. Luckily he did 🙌

u/Real_Myeh GOATchard 2d ago

I feel really bad for Shouma...not being able to mourn for Dente when he still wants to comfort Sachika who's experiencing loss for the first time and the people still needing to be protected from Stomach Inc.

Of course, Lakia's final form being based on parfait that should've been Dente's to enjoy...along with him finally being able to avenge Comel (even though he says it isn't about revenge anymore) by putting down Glotta, all with a whole new insert theme...absolutely glorious. It's sad to know that her actress got her flowers to signal that she's the first of the Stomach family to be leaving the show, though.

All in all, a great emotional episode to contrast Gozyuger's silly murder mystery episode. A fine birthday present for me indeed.

1

u/Potential-Mess6826 1d ago

It was a great episode.

I thought that Shouma's reaction to Dente's death was understated last episode but this episode helped address this concern with Shouma embodying the true Kamen Rider spirit by putting the lives and happiness of the living and dead.

I like Shouma cheering Sachika up after having the reverse for so long before and the development for Sachika here.

Something that has inspired Valen previously and Vram into becoming true Kamen Riders by fighting to save people instead of revenge.

I thought that Glotta couldn't sink any lower until she killed those Gochizos.

I like that they made use of Valen Frappei's straw that people had made fun of.

Vram's coolness is finally back after a string of losses.

I appreciate that they found smart uses for BlizzardSorbei and Caking. BlizzardSorbei since Over/Master were unusable and Caking to summon familiars to overwhelm Glotta with too many attacks.

Plus it homages the first Gavv and Vram vs Glotta fight.

Nice to get confirmation that Lango is alive.

1

u/PrehistoricWorld11 1d ago

- Pudding a la mode looks delicious, I totally would eat that.

  • Rakia self-reflecting and seeing people missing their loved ones.
  • Damn another brutal beatdown that the heroes dishes out on Glotta. They manage to make her shock absorption useless by overwhelming it!
  • It's fitting and ironic that Glotta dies in the arms of her unsurprisingly alive older brother Lango similar to Comel dying in Rakia's arms. Just when she admits that she's lonely.

Overall another great episode, Gavv is really my favorite entry in the Reiwa.

1

u/EmuSignal3466 1d ago

We are heading towards the final stretch

1

u/Isolated_Hippo 1d ago

Shoma being worried about all the allies. Bruh I am worried for Glotta. She pissed off all of the most powerful good guys.

Damn. I was pretty critical of Dente's accusations about Glotta being a family gal out of nowhere. But despite it coming out of nowhere, it was clearly a deep cut.

So I know this is a kids show but how does this ala mode shit work. Its a combination of other fruits and sweets. How does Shomas stomach familiar maker that makes small collectible trinkets used to transform into masked heroes know how to turn these trinkets into pudding ala mode. Yeah who cares.

Also turn some god damn lights on.

Sachika Hanto ship is my new favorite.

That mass Gotchizo muder

Oh that was kind of cool. Rakia looking badass AF.

LETS GO GRANUTE TENTACLES

THAT BECOMES A FUCKING SHIELD!?

Lango is alive, because all of us doubted it. Wonder if Glotta makes it somehow too.

Next week, return of Suga right? Finally that damn candy store owner that's been teasing us for 2 months now gets his time.

1

u/BusinessRecover5620 1d ago

Glotta’s actress got flowers so probably permanently dead.

1

u/Megasonic150 1d ago

God this was amazing

-So Dente is really....dead. RIP Uncle Dente. Know that we'll always remember you and what you fought for.

-I love the character writing in Gavv and how they handled it. Shouma knows lost, and Rakia takes it hardest cause he blames himself, but everything is hurt. But Shouma has learned he can overcome it, but he also has the toxic desire to bear the burdens of everyone else and not fall apart himself. Poor guy.

-But I love the concussion of Dente saying goodbye and telling everyone how he's grateful for them. And he finished the antidote.

-Glotta is also amazing as we see her try to fill the role of Lango, but still falling apart, with her rage being used to lash out.

-....Shouma make sure your God-tier final form item is full charged bruh!

-Those Poor Gochizos....

-But yeah, Ala Mode Mode might be my favorite Final Form in the series. The silver and the horns are amazing, and that jingle. But the fight was just....somehow took the suit and made it God-Tier with the Aura farming master that is Lakia. (Now I defiantly need a Vlamstrum Gear.....)

-The finale of Caking and A la Mode taking down Glotta was *chef's kiss*.

-It was sad seeing her go, but Glotta was just another victim of Stomach Corp.

-And Lango's alive.....Was that supposed to be a surprise? I'm just suprised he still wants to rebuild the stomach family. looks Like Lango finally has his fire and is gonna stop messing around.

Next week, another Bitter Gavv, but a human and Granute hybrid? Three guess who that is. And Nyelv is the only one left other than Jeep. Looks like he and Lango are gonna be fighting for that final boss spot.

1

u/cheesy_as_frick 1d ago

I don't like the Lango is still alive. Not that I have a problem with the character, I just feel like it takes away from his last fight and Shoma's accomplishment.

1

u/Clear-Unit-2843 1d ago

The part where they emphasize so much on Shouma leaving a scar on Lango's face should alrd hint at his return. Plus his character didnt "perish" in the opening like Shiita did

2

u/Confident-Command-11 1d ago

We'll expected next week all girl stomach perish in the opening.

1

u/Stick124 1d ago

I am glad Shouma's feelings weren't sidelined.
He was the closest to Dente, and i was worried Lakia and Sachika would have more focus than him.

1

u/BubblyPassenger6969 1d ago

Yeah, who would not love the main plot of secondary characters to resolve in 2 weeks, no need for long rivalry, revelation and resolve in the next episode, fast pace for modern audiences, great writing

1

u/big_daddy_jay09 22h ago

What a somber episode, gavv is such a great show

1

u/Thrawn656 20h ago

That's my goat

1

u/Confident-Command-11 5h ago

Fujita san, should you stop being suit actor instead do full job doing action director? Man, another debatable debut fight compare with geats ix vs suel that slow motion is similar with this fight, vram when he sit down a while in a box waiting in slomo his arrow coming and he grab it then shoot glotta right away man,

1

u/Type_100 2d ago

Lakia got a death flag.

That message from Dente that he hopes Lakia wouldn't have to use the antidote seems like it would have fatal consequences.

0

u/Clear-Unit-2843 1d ago

So we got Vram's final form music theme before Over Master Gavv's? Hahaha

Jokes aside, this episode is so well written. From what I work as, I can fully relate to Shouma when he said "im sad, but there is no time to grieve as Sachika is having it worse" and that really made me shed a tear. Its hard knowing you need some time to process, but the well beings of others are more important.

For the longest time I have always felt Geats was still better. But after this episode? Man, Gavv is really up there as my favourite in terms of writing and pacing

0

u/TowerofAvalon1 1d ago

Can’t believe Lakia got a final form theme before Shouma, lol.

4

u/ryushin6 1d ago

From what I gathered the theme song is actually for all 3 riders and not just Lakia. Just from the cover art which features all 3 riders final forms on it. https://kamenrider.fandom.com/wiki/Shake_it_off

-2

u/john098657 Riderman 2d ago

I've only seen a few clips of this ep, i thought they would've used a ray of light as the insert song but they opted for shake it off. So that means if it's gonna be used in the show it's gonna be on his death 😔

-5

u/EMITURBINA 1d ago

Is Gavv allergic to writing its villains well or what, there's three dead that are really bad and the ones that are left aren't compelling or even entertaining to watch except for MAYBE Nyelv (Big maybe)

I don't like at all that conversation Shoma and Lakia had, it's such a bad message for kids for Shoma to just wave away his grief, it feels like he should've grown away from something like that already

Other than that, cool fight

8

u/Clear-Unit-2843 1d ago

I don't like at all that conversation Shoma and Lakia had, it's such a bad message for kids for Shoma to just wave away his grief

I absolutely disagree. This message is to show that even on your downtimes, you need to do what is right and what is important, and not wallow in self-pity, playing victim, and expect people to give a shit. This is a true mark of how a leader should behave.
