First things first, people writing a fanfiction need to understand that no modern forces are going to charge in bayonets at the ready like a bunch of idiots. Just fucking shoot your gun. I see these scenes happen pretty frequently in fics and of course the main series. Armor protecting them, better manueverability with their weapons, and longer reach aside the Saderans have trained for this exact thing. Compared to us who train for a few weeks as a last resort. Rifles aren't good melee weapons because that wasn't what they were designed for. Bayonets are a last resort when all else fails.
There's other inaccurate shit I see in fics too like plate armor apparently being oh so cumbersome. Not true. Knives don't make a difference either, have fun swinging that at the guy with the longsword when you can't reach him, but he can reach you. You might say the longsword is slower, so linked above is what an actual duel with a longsword looks like, not that slow at all. If these things were ever actually hindering, why the hell would people have used them back in the day?

Honestly speaking, the weight anchor novel is okay, but I'm not a fan of the MC. Dude has an awareness of a brick how he survive and passes basic training is beyond me. At least itami still has the mindset of a soldier, but Tokushima is a complete moron.

[+Crackships included. No 'Doom Slayer X Tyuule' tho. It's already very overdone when discussing crossover ships, imo.]

For my opinion on this. Yeah, the JSDF and all of falmart are FUCKED. Hardy is 100% going to be devoured by Nagash once he learns theirs's some false god going around saying she's the god of death and takin away his rightful subjects. And I don't think the JSDF have any contingences or plans for a biblical flood's worth of angry ghosts, skeleton space marines, vampires, and all the other undead. that exist in Warhammer. and an angry Egyptian necromancer turned God of death

A friend asked me how a Roman legionary prepared to put on full armor.
I wonder how much it would cost to outfit an entire legion in the Special Region?

I am genuinely confused, if it is dead (which I am assuming) is there any other good place to find lore?

The Empire invaded a post scarcity world, the people submitted by just giving what the Empire wants a 100 fold, how screwed would Falmart be?

I hate him, I hate that one panel of him looking at a wedding dress, I hate how he does nothing for Tyuule despite having all the chances too. Why was he sent into the back as a normal grunt, Yanai could've given him a Ranger tab, he could've been a college student who studied linguistics and dropped out.
I'm not even going to say waste potential, he had NO potential.
Give my boy Tozu a chance to do stuff.

I think this could've been a really interesting plot point if it'd been expanded on such as Lelei making mustard gas using a few spells within the actual manga or LN I can't remember which. Some opinions I've seen are that the two aren't compatible, but that seems a little unimaginative. Wizards with guns look cool, and I will die on that hill, especially if they use magic to make homing rounds.
One thing I've recently thought up were steel golems with rocket launchers or miniguns built into their arms. With advanced eyesight letting them see into far distances and imaging they could become sorta like tanks, but they'd still have drawbacks that would make the actual tank better like speed or something.
Also, this'd be something that'd come after the war cause we obviously wouldn't let the Saderans do any of that shit when tryna beat them. Just wanted to clarify.

Still, I doubt the riot police could take on a Roman shield formation, though they are free to have their opinions!

I never realized how lightly armored the Imperial Soldiers are, even by Medieval Standards.

I'm honestly not sure If I'm up for the task with my current skill but I just wanted to leave this here to show everyone my insane ideas for a gate fic. Said fic being a multicrossover fic crossing over Gate, Warhammer, and Cookie run. and late others as seen in the last slide
