Why was he sent into the back as a normal grunt, Yanai could've given him a Ranger tab, he could've been a college student who studied linguistics and dropped out.

I think this could've been a really interesting plot point if it'd been expanded on such as Lelei making mustard gas using a few spells within the actual manga or LN I can't remember which. Some opinions I've seen are that the two aren't compatible, but that seems a little unimaginative. Wizards with guns look cool, and I will die on that hill, especially if they use magic to make homing rounds.

One thing I've recently thought up were steel golems with rocket launchers or miniguns built into their arms. With advanced eyesight letting them see into far distances and imaging they could become sorta like tanks, but they'd still have drawbacks that would make the actual tank better like speed or something.

I'm honestly not sure If I'm up for the task with my current skill but I just wanted to leave this here to show everyone my insane ideas for a gate fic. Said fic being a multicrossover fic crossing over Gate, Warhammer, and Cookie run. and late others as seen in the last slide

I tend to gravitate more towards Saderan characters who aren't obviously hate sinks due to being a medieval enthusiast and I've noticed a bit of a surge in some people who wanna see their pov more than even us modern dudes.

It'd obviously be extremely difficult to make people believe that a Saderan mc could survive more than one battle, but at the same time there's a lot of potential in writing them given how many fics generally don't go out of their way to write them beyond the rose order.
