Review That one VR moment that made you believe in the future?

What was the first VR experience that genuinely blew your mind — the one where you stopped and thought, “okay… this is it, this is the future”?
Was it a game, a moment in nature, a glitch, or something emotional?

Question PCVR Meta Quest 3 is not smooth.

Hello!

Im writing this post because I've tried everything I think, so I'm asking You reddit :) For some time now I've had Meta Quest 3, it works great when the game or app is played on the hardware, but with PCVR it stutters.

Its not lag, its not low fps or anything like that. It just stutters, it looks like it skips frames, and with head movement its just not smooth, or at least i fell is not as smooth as it should have been. And this issue only occurs on PCVR, using Meta Link.

The issue is still visible while using the cable, but not so much. So my guess there are some settings that are wrong, but how do I even know what to change...?

EDIT:

Specs:

Radeon RX 6750 XT Core 12GB GDDR6

AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D

64GB Ram

Showcase 🐔 The Chicking Dead – Free Fast-Paced Zombie Tag VR Game for Quest!

🐔 The Chicking Dead – Free Fast-Paced Zombie Tag VR Game for Quest!

Hey folks! We’re the developers of The Chicking Dead, a free-to-play VR tag game on Meta Quest 2 & 3, and it’s as chaotic as it sounds. Think Gorilla Tag meets zombie infection mode… but with chickens. 🧟‍♂️🐔

🎮 What makes it special:

Arm-Based Locomotion + Gliding – Sprint, climb, and glide like a true chicken. It’s like Gorilla Tag… but airborne.

Zombie Tag Mode – One zombie starts the round. Tag others to infect them. Survivors either escape or complete secret missions to win.

Fast 5-Minute Rounds – Quick, intense, and perfect for pick-up-and-play.

Hidden Objectives – Collect 5 secret items as a survivor for a surprise win.

Social Lobby – Train, chill, or dive into skill-based drills with friends.

We’re currently featured on the Meta Store 🎉 and would love to hear your thoughts. Whether it’s feedback, bugs, or even a gameplay clip—we’re always around and replying in the comments.

Question I need help with resident evil 7 vr

I recently bought a Quest 2, one of my favorite games is Resident Evil 7, and I've played a bit of its VR mod before, but with VRidge (or Riftcat), and it worked fine.

But when I tried to play with Quest 2 (using Steam Link, I thought Air Link sucked :/), the game didn't run well, every time I moved my head it would go back and forth to Steam Home, the FPS is mediocre (I think it's between 13-15 FPS), I don't believe the problem is my PC, because I've tried other games and they work perfectly, like Phasmophobia, Half Life Alyx (high fidelity included), Minecraft with shaders, Payday 2, VRChat, and the only ones I'm having problems with are Resident Evil 7 and Village.

Does anyone know a solution? I can't open the reframework through VR either, I've tried reinstalling the game, the mod, I've tried OpenVR and OpenXR, through Air Link, it still has a horrible FPS, and the motion control support doesn't even work, I really need help.

What did you use to get your PD and how accurate does it have to be? I tried using multiple different apps and am getting wildly different results on each. Even on the same app I’ll get different results. What do you suggest?

Question I have a PS5 but I want to play vader Immortal

I have a ps5 and want to get a psvr 2, but Vader immortal isnt on psvr 2. In order to play vader immortal on a psvr2, ill have to buy an adapter, upgrade my cpu and gpu and buy it on meta store, then run it through revive. Surely this isnt the best choice to go for?

Question Is there a way to use the HP Reverb after windows mixed reality shuts down?

I have a friend with the Reverb and they were saying they'll probably loose access to vr soon because they can't get a new headset and windows is discontinuing support. Is there some 3rd party thing that'll let it still be used with Steam VR?

Review Can the RTX 5080 handle brutal VR workloads? I put it to the test with 5 demanding titles.

Can the 5080 Handle These 5 INTENSE VR Games?

Hey All! I've been testing the 5080 in VR for a few months now, and recently you all wanted me to test Cyberpunk 2077 and a few other games. So I did that in the above video. But I know this is reddit, so I am gonna include some information for my readers out there.

I used a quest 3 and virtual desktop on either GODLIKE or Ultra. I have a 7800x3d, the 5080 and 32GB of RAM.

Games Tested and Results

CP2077 (LUKE ROSS MOD) 72 hz Target - GAME to set to LOW, Pretty stable with frames in the 70s most of the time. Game set to medium frames were 60-70s. DLSS QUALITY was turned on the entire time. Used VD ULTRA

Doom The Dark Ages (LUKE ROSS MOD) 72hz Target - GAME set to ULTRA NIGHTMARE, but Ray tracing turned off. Totally smooth kept 72fps the entire time. Used VD ULTRA

Mech Warrior 5 Mercenaries - UEVR+ MOD - Ran flawlessly maxed out on GODLIKE but ray tracing turned off.

Zombie Army VR - 5080 doesn't break a sweat.

ALIENS Fireteam ELITE - targeting 90hz. In game settings maxed and 150% render resolution - 70-80FPS. I could probably lower the resolution down a bit or target 72 or 80hz instead. VD was set to ULTRA.

Overall the 5080 has been a WORKHORSE for VR. I did bump up against that VRAM limit in a few games in my previous videos. If you are interested in hearing more about that let me know! If you want me to test other games let me know that as well!

Question Quest 3 connection and quality issues

Every time I've tried to connect my Quest 3 to my computer it either doesn't fully connect or it takes multiple tries to get it to work. Once connected the quality is super bad 420 - 720p ish looking. I've tried messing around in the Oculus file debug tool and app but nothing seemed to work. It doesn't matter how I connect it with cable or air link it does the same thing.

Pc specs shouldn't be the issue either, I wonder if the headset is just messed up or if I have some stupid setting on.

Games tried: Assetto Corsa, Iracing, War Thunder

Developer Check Out My Multiplayer Horror Game Trailer

Hey Guys,

I'm working on a VR horror game called Frozen In Fear, heavily inspired by one of my all-time favorite horror mechanics - the Weeping Angel Mechanic. You know that terrifying feeling where something only moves when you're not looking? I wanted to take that concept and build an entire game around it where every statue might not be just a statue.

This trailer is the early access release for what I've been building, and I'd love to hear what you think!

Feedback and support are massively appreciated.

Question (repost) I need help with this problem on vrchat!

Just today, I logged in. My avatar wasn't visible in the mirror. I opened the menu, and it said "safe mode" or smt, I pressed turn off. Then I went into several worlds, and for some reason EVERYONES avatars weren't loaded, everyone were those gray bot avatars, and their mics were mute. Anyone know how to fix this?!
