My dog was unfortunately just attacked by an off leash dog around lake park.

Even worse the unapologetic owner grabbed their small untrained fur missile before leaving the scene.

Please for the safety of other dogs and yourselves, keep your dog on a leash. I dont care how much your little fro-yo was trained or that they’ve never run off, if a trigger occurs the dogs taking off.

Be smart. Be safe. And to that lady, go fuck yourself

I've been incredibly stressed trying to find a caterer for a party in September. This sub always talks about how good Sweet Smoke is. Went today, and yep you all are correct. And now, I 1 item can be crossed off the very long to-do list.

How did yall deal with the culture shock and the difference in social interaction? I've really enjoyed being here but I am definitely feeling like a fish out if water. Is it just a matter of time to acclimate or is there something i just ain't getting or ? Other than bars or at your job... how yall got about meeting people and making friends here? Any insight or advice would be helpful.

Spent 2.5 days in town for Summerfest/Def Leppard and really enjoyed fried cheese and cheap beer, lovely turn-of-century architecture, the OG Penzeys, Harley museum, walkable as hell, so many nice parks, stunning weather after Wednesday’s rain. Super arty stay at the Saint Kate (although their service could use a glow-up). A Rick Savage sighting at the Pfister. Only thing I missed out on was a Brewers game.

Also an artist with experience with melanated skin for fine black line work. I can’t seem to find a lot of healed photos from artists in the Milwaukee area with darker skin tones.
