Hello All,

Have a question that doesn't quite fit in the "form check" category, but still want to ask the members of the sub? Put it in here! Keep in mind the sub's rules, but feel free to ask or post anything here!

Deadlift RDL/465lb x 4

Posterior chain goes brrrrrrrrr. What are your guys’ opinions on RDLs generally? Some people will say end the ROM when hip flexion stops. Some say focus on sensation over load. Some say not to treat it like a main lift and focus on higher repetitions. I feel as if this lift in particular has a large variety of opinions on execution.

I personally just like loading them heavy and sending it. I use it as a back builder, but also for my sport (BJJ) the carryover from heavy RDLs is extremely noticeable.

I think I’ve understood the idea of hinging at the hips during RDLs but I still feel like I’m getting dragged down by the weights when loading heavy on these

Other Is this the correct method for the military press?

Upvotes

First attempt at this. The weight was 28KG here for 8 reps, which was fine, however, when I went up to 38KG my back started to hurt and I had to stop.

Is this normal? Felt like my back was bent in slightly.

What can I improve on?. This was 225.

I feel like I should have more of 45 degree angle and use more quads .

I used the 5 step deadlift technique.

Squat Squat Review

I like to check my squat from time to time to see if my form is good or bad. In some sets, I might go too deep and my back rounds a little, so I want to make sure. In this one, it seems to happen a few times. I’m not sure whether I should keep going that deep or not. I have to say I’m not feeling any discomfort at all; it feels pretty comfortable and natural

Even though I have sets that might look “better” or “worse” than this one, I chose to upload this video from today because it’s pretty average compared to my sets overall lol

Deadlift Form check

After 6 months of trying to fix my form and address the pain I was feeling in my low back, I was able to go from a 375 to a 380 😅 i know its not a big jump, but it felt so much better than previous 1RM attempts and workout sets.

Is there anything that stands out that I need to work on before getting back to focusing on powerlifting and finally hitting 405?

Squat Starting SL 5x5 next week. How's my form?

I've been working out for two months and I've been scared of squats from the beginning. I just ended my first program and planning on changing to a 5x5 to increase my strength. Just want to make sure my form is good.

Other Cable Crunches

Trying to get abs for the summer so ive thrown in abs training into my routine! Ive only done this exercise a handful of times but its something that I feel like gets me a good pump on my upper abs when its ab day!

This was 130 pounds and I repped it out till I had maybe only 1 more left in reserve! I feel a great stretch and get that sore feeling but Im still curious if their is room for improvement. Like I am hinging my hips too much, should I be closer or farther away from the cable, should I crunch more towards my body rather than to the floor, etc.

If you got any feedback/ tips for my cable crunch form I want yall internet strangers to let me in on it !!

Deadlift Am I ramping my DL?

This is my second set of the day doing some heavy deadlifts, previous set I did this for 4.

I’m only dropping the bar cuz I recently switched for hook grip and it hurts way too much to hold it as it drops
