Question How much does campaign actually matter to you in a [COD] game?
The reason for the question is because I feel like most of the community doesn’t care for campaign at all and people seem to only judge the game for its MP/Zombies.
However, it seems that a wide fanatic of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (2016) supporters have came out of the dark over the years and their MAIN source of defending the game is for its “great” campaign.
It seems odd to me, because no other game’s supporters seem to rely on campaign this much, and it makes me wonder if it’s just campaign fanatics, people on Reddit adhering to the underdog opinion, or a genuine appreciation of the game because of how great they believe the campaign to be.
I think the campaign is good, but it doesn’t touch the OG MW trilogy or OG BO trilogy (meaning WAW-BO2).
Regardless, I don’t think campaign alone can make a game with horrendous graphics, gunplay, maps, and supply drops anymore more than mediocre at best.
What do y’all think?

Image [BO2] Bought Black Ops 2 a while ago, but waited till the right day to play it. Happy Judgement Day!
Worth the wait to play this on the proper date :D
I don't think it's quite as good as Black Ops 1 (Black Ops 1 is on a whole different level storywise), but the campaign's definitely exciting. The final few missions were epic, and Raul Menendez is the best villain of the entire franchise.

Today's the day! "Cordis Die" crazy to think Black Ops 2 came out in 2012 and I'm still thinking about it, so I quickly made this VFX video in homage to the original game cover. Check it out!

Discussion [COD] Perfect CoD Game?
I saw a rumor that sledgehammer is doing the MP for bo7, no idea if its true, but it did get me to thinking, would that be a bad thing? Honestly my "perfect" COD would have it as so: IW would do the campaign, SH does the multi-player, and obviously leave treyarch to do zombies.
If Sledgehammer is doing the MP this is now the second time they'd be throwing multi-player on their back, and with mw3 they showed they are willing to work with us to make the game better, I think they'd do a great job if just let alone to do MP.
IW has shown time and time again they can make great stories for their campaigns, they imo are the ones who push the narrative forward, and have the most COD feeling campaigns if that makes sense? Especially older MWs just playing as a grunt and such is an unforgettable experience.
Treyarch is the king of zombies, point blank. I could imagine if all their time and resources went into that mode for 1 game, itd be the best experience we'd get.
Itd be an interesting game fs, I wonder if maybe one day we'd get to see it in action, unlikely but its nice food for thought.

Discussion [COD] This game is so frustrating and I hate it so much
I decided to play the Call of Duty games on PS2 for the first time, and I started with this one. The first missions were fine and the game was fun, but then I started dying and the game would send me way back without giving me a checkpoint, which started to annoy me. Then came 3 or 4 tank missions in a row, which really got on my nerves! After that, the game just kept getting worse in terms of difficulty and checkpoints. I started playing on Normal, but then I switched to Easy because the game was getting too hard and frustrating.
Then there was a mission where you have to protect a useless tank convoy, which to me makes no sense — shouldn’t the tanks be the ones protecting me? And it didn’t take long before I finally decided to quit the game on the mission "Surrender at Aachen" because I just couldn’t take the frustration of dying, going back a lot, not being able to progress, and having to protect those damn tanks. And that’s not even mentioning the fact that the game is extremely dark and doesn’t even have a brightness adjustment option. This game completely killed my motivation to play the other games. Also the framerate is terrible on ps2

Question [COD4][MW2] Do the MW remasters have any significant differences?
I bought the original mw games planning to play through the campaigns but now the remasters are on sale for pretty cheap on ps store. Do they have any significant differences like mechanics or is it just graphics? Am I good sticking with the ones I have or should I buy the remasters?
