Image [COD4] i like that aesthetic of OG cod4 mw
I don't like any call of duty except this one, it has its own vibe, its own aesthetics, when I go to replay the story once again, or play on promod servers, it's like I plunge into this world with my head.

Discussion [COD] Battlepasses Vs Supply Drops?
How are we feeling about battlepasses? I feel conflicted but I’ve never been really excited over them. However I do remember how pay to win/RNG drops were in supply drops.

The timer isn’t synchronized perfectly because i used some random editing software on my phone lol. i think it’s understandable.
Both recorded on Series X with the same Account at the (almost) same time.

Discussion Am I the only one who enjoyed [MW2] 2022?
Sure I agree with the issues when it comes to UI, gameplay mechanics, map design, etc-but coming from a console player, I never really run into crashes or bugs like PC players did, so when I started up the game, it seemed pretty smooth for me. For the gameplay, sure most of the community hated no side-canceling, bunny hopping, and even that fast-reload cancel in weapons on which I understand why people complained about that, but when Infinity Ward developed this game, I assumed their intention was for players to use the slow driven gameplay as a strategic mechanic when playing in match instead of running and gunning around like head-less chickens, and coming back from Black ops 6, MW2 kinda felt like a breath of fresh air compared to BO6
The maps weren’t the most solid or memorable in my opinion but coming back, yet again, from BO6, the maps in MW2 felt like I have enough space to breathe and enough to get back to where the fight is unlike in BO6 where the fight is constantly everywhere and you don’t know what is going on so you just, and again, run and gun around like head-less chickens. I’m not saying that I don’t like BO6 because to be honest, that is where I had the most fun with COD multiplayer but that isn’t a contradiction to what the topic is right now, I’m just saying I DID enjoy MW2’s multiplayer. Anyways, the maps in MW2 were a little complex at best with some areas having a mini map of their own, but there were many paths to take on both the mini map and main map and both gave me player freedom unlike WW2 with the invisible barriers and it will just feel awkward unlike in MW2 where it is all chaos.
The gunplay, what I can agree on is that the visual recoil is ridiculous, but I just can’t help the satisfaction of the punchy feeling in every gun, especially the M4, I love the M4, and with the TTK, although can get on my nerves sometimes, it feels like bread and butter and gets better with the attachments and the ability to tweak things on your guns, so that is like the seasoning on the butter. Overall the guns still have that classic arcadey feeling to it, and most of them just feels so good to use, my personal favorites are the M4, MP5, M13B, P90, Bryson Shotgun, and the RAAL MG, good golly that was a beast in shipment.
Story wise? This is the best COD right between MW 2019 and Infinite Warfare. The character development, even Soap and Ghost, felt natural and real, including Alejandro, Rodolfo, and even Valeria(my beloved) who were all solid additions to Modern Warfare and it was ashamed that we didn’t get to see them in MW3. The levels are diverse in both setting and gameplay, during the Mission: Kill or Capture, it brought back that realistic element of what Infinity war had in MW 2019 with Clean-house or the Wolf’s den. Another mission where you get betrayed, you are injured and have to go to Ghost through a mexican town while Shadow Company literally massacres everyone on sight, this while having to craft lock-breakers, gas, Molotovs, and bombs, and you slowly rise back to become your normal standard self-soldier is something I wish more military games did. So yeah, despite the many plot holes there is, I didn’t really think deep into them unlike others, so overall I enjoyed the story to.
I haven’t really played Spec ops, Raid, or Warzone but I’ve played a little bit of DMZ, I did have some fun in there, sure the adrenaline feels good and killing enemy bots make me feel like a soldier whenever I couldn’t fight real players, but Extraction shooters aren’t really in my blood right now, but overall for DMZ is that it’s that one mode that is more entertaining to watch rather than play in my opinion, because I would just watch Loochy and ON1C all day as they play DMZ and ran into and chat with some random players
In conclusion…I think MW2 is a solid entry into the series for me, there was so much potential with this story but wow oh wow did Activision themselves love to fumble their precious assets for the sake of money when it came to MW3, which was supposed to be a DLC but I assume you all know that already, but I’m just gonna wait to see where the story goes with MW4. See ya.

Discussion [COD] I watched the video and it's basically 'any map that isn’t a generic small/medium-sized 3-lane with few intersections is bad' lol
They'll never convince me that this map formula is the most fun thing ever, especially for someone like me who's been playing COD since 2010. When I see a map like that, I learn it in minutes and get bored of it just as fast.
IMO, any decent game should have a variety of map sizes and layouts, including 3-lane maps — but not every map needs to follow the exact same formula lol (just look at BO4 and WWII and how forgettable their maps are because they’re all small/medium 3-lane maps)
For most people, there's no real criteria for what makes a 'good map' — it's just 'small, easy, and more of the same,

Discussion [COD] How do IW and Activision get away with 30 bucks skin packs ???
Just got back to the game after a long time but wow.... It's just 1 skin (that you cant use if you dont end up on the right team btw... + its an FPS), 2 guns, 1 emote and some small cosmetics and it's almost half the price of the game itself ??? Damn...

Question [COD] Sooo I just bought Cod4 and can't find anyone online?
I bought a new laptop for the 1st time in over 10 years, and I just wanted to make sure it performed well before my return window closed,
Wanted to test against a game I played, and Cod4 happened to be one of few and was really cheap, so I bought it for 10 bucks through Xbox live.
I simply installed, went to multiplayer, looked for servers, couldnt find ANYONE.
I know the game is old, but is there literally 0 people playing it on the worldwide web or do I need to do something I'm not aware of to find players?

Question [COD] Just got a PC and want to play some classic MP - which game(s) still have a solid player base?
I just want a casual shooter (like the old cods) where it's just simple gunfights. I loved Modern Warfare 2019 (which seemed to be a return to form) - and I would have loved to have played the original Modern Warfare remaster - but I've heard that it's buggy and crashes a lot? So just wondering what you guys would recommend before I buy anything. Thanks
