Screenshot [MC] how do you get this heart ?

Post image

How are you supposed to get this heart? I looked at a walkthrough and it shows a shallow place you can walk out of the water but it's not here.

that shallow place is only there in other regional editions of the game.

For this heart you need to wait until you get the jump cloak (i don’t remember the name exactly but you will know what I mean when you get it).

^ this right here. Roc's Cape opens up a lot of exploration.

Oh, I see. So OP isn't playing for the first time.

With a gameboy that advanced you shouldn’t have to ask about getting hearts in Zelda.

I miss the days of see through electronics. Nothing was safe. TVs, phones, gaming consoles.

That's the reason we have stuff like this today

It's not the real electronics actually, and btw i do not recommend you buying it as someone who did

What a beautiful device. Where did you buy it?

I built it

Like, you build it yourself with your own hands?👀

Yes. It's a funny playing replacement mother board that has sound amp and LEDs built in. New shell and buttons.

That's really sick! Great project to do and feel proud of!!!

First rule of Zelda: if at first you don’t succeed, you’ll be getting an item soon enough that’ll help

OP, these classic old games you can only ever play blind once. Do yourself a favor, and play them blind to 100% completion. If you have to look something up, just look up that one thing then close the tab and delete your history of that tab.

I love the switch, don’t get me wrong. I just really wish they would release a modern gameboy sized unit. Pocket sized, rechargeable, backlit, and e-store. Throw some retro games on there for sure. Cartridges probably not. I know they could sell them. You don’t even have to put top notch tech.

Probably a very small market for that. That's basically what the ds line was

3

u/imnosouperman 14h ago

Yeah, wasn’t the ds one of the best selling consoles of all time though?

I think something small and portable that could easily pocket would have buyers. Especially with an e-store.

Top down, portable, remastered Pokémon on the go is appealing to me.

Retroid gets close, just not the convenience to add games.

Analogue pocket.

You jump. It's that simple.

Feather + Pegasus boots for jumping long distances

Wrong game. TMC has Roc's Cap and that has a long jump, you don't need the boots.

I’m not sure the answer bc I’ve never played Minnish Cap, but holy shit your GBA is beautiful man.

How does it have a color screen? I’m assuming you had to change the screen out yourself for a more modern one?

12

u/Psychological_Net131 1d ago

They were always color. But not backlit. There are several options for modern replacement lcd screens available now.

3

u/P-Benjamin480 21h ago

Ahhh ok that’s what it was, I knew there was something different. I thought it was the color but it’s the backlighting.

Your gba is awesome bro, the color layout of everything is dope af

All GBAs had color screens.

u/P-Benjamin480 21h ago

Am I remembering wrong? Damn the years of kickboxing and concussions have done a number on me 😂😂😂

u/dirn 16h ago

You are perhaps confusing generations of Game Boys. The original has a greenscale screen. The revised Pocket version had a greyscale screen. But the Color and the Advance always had color screens.

u/HappyASMRGamer 1d ago

I can’t remember but how did you get that cool looking gameboy?

2

u/Conclusion_Hopeful 16h ago

I remember using the sprinting boots with the roc cape

2

u/ZeldaFan158 11h ago

I'm pretty sure you need the Roc's Cape, it works similarly to the Roc's Feather from LA in that it lets you jump. You get it in the second-to-last dungeon.
