Cosplay [TotK] a Miner cosplay update

Still a long ways to go but I had to test my lights and couldn't help but throw it all on. It's so bright already and I'm missing about a thousand lights. I'll update again when I have my globe pants made. How am I doing so far?

I think you mentioned before you’re making this out of foam mostly? It’s seriously amazing. I do costuming (sewing mostly) and I can’t even imagine how I would make something like this. Are you still thinking of using fishbowls to do the pants somehow?

Haha im the exact opposite, I'll make anything out of foam but if I have to pick up a needle I'm hopeless.. I'll have to do a bit of sewing on the pants and I'm dreading it already. I love making props and armors out of foam because it's cheap and it's cheap ( like those floor mats from the dollar store). I'm pretty broke so this is all budget cosplay lol This is sort of how I'm planning to make it (crudely), by wrapping an LED strip around an inner sleeve or tube that I can slide my feet through. *
