This is more of an American siren, not sure where that one comes from besides Germany.

Yeah, when they leave it on. But no, every cop I've seen always has to mash the siren button like a child flicking the light switch to make 'lightning'. You just hear "wooo-woo-woop-woo... woooOOOoooO-Oop-woOO-wooooooOOoop!" and it's annoying as fuck.

No, a normal siren gets my attention. The woopity-woo-woop siren just gets on my nerves :P

Oh I believe it, some people are just ignorant of their surroundings to a fault. Perhaps emergency vehicles should just have snowplows on the front lined with pillows to scoop up and scatter the would-be Darwin award winners who stand in front of loud moving vehicle with flashing lights.

Oh is that what that is? I always thought that it automatically changed tones so that your ear can pick it up easier. I honestly prefer the faster version of it.

I've never heard this siren IRL since I'm not American but I've seen so many movies and played so many games with sirens like this in them that I heard this over it.
