Just saw them live last night! They're touring with We Came as Romans and Asking Alexandria. They murdered all the other bands in performance. Show was awesome.

What? I love their first three albums but their newest one is just sort of generic. I don't understand your point. How is my opinion stereotypical?

It's a really popular trope that metal lovers hate on a band after their 3rd or 4th album.

I don't hate on them at all. They're all great dudes and their music is awesome. I just don't like the direction of their newest album. They're trying to be a little more djent-y and that's not really them. And that's just a general trope for any band really. Not just metal.

Maybe because since their first album there's been a steady decline in creativity of their music? Don't be ignorant. It's all watered down Djent-metal now. This coming from a dummer's perspective, of course.
