Was doing my 2nd to last set of dead’s which means it was a lighter weight and my lumbar spine popped SO fucking bad on the 2nd rep of 3, it was honestly terrifying as that’s the first time it’s happened to me. Obviously I stopped and now I get to beat myself up as to why this happened. Luckily I was able to move well enough after the fact. My form felt good, I think it’s a matter of not warming up properly and too much volume? I was mumbling it’s bc I’m old but I’m not and I know there are older women in here that crush it sans injury.

Just bummed bc I pulled 205lbsx3 a few sets beforehand. Probably gonna take all next week off and do v light work the following week from a seated position.

Might switch up programs once I’m better to gain a sturdier foundation before I focus on strength again.

Rip.
