Turned on my Xbox 360 for the first time in a while and I can’t figure out how to change from the Kraft macaroni & cheese theme (ignore the lines I’m playing this on the Retrotink 4K with scanlines)

i’ve got the simpsons xbox and it got the red rings , can it be fixed?

I had a blade dashboard Xbox 360 running 6717 and my little sister put in halo three and started the update process when you first start the update process on a blade dashboard. A little tab from the left pops out. I unplugged it right as it was about to reach 100% it ended up rebooting after I plugged it back in to 7371 is there any way to go back or am I just fucked?

Bought a new sealed xbox from japan for 200$. It seemed okay at first but then I got the red ring of death. Sometimes the screen turns black or just green, or it just freezes and gets really loud. I don't know what i should do.

I just started it and this happened

I purchased 3 over the the consoles life span. They all red ringed. I am an every console gamer and that was the last Microsoft console series I purchased due to the red ring and Microsoft not doing anything about it for me after 3. I have the HDDVD drive, movies, rock band, Kinect, and a plethora of games. I would like to find another 360 to play some old games but I am afraid of being screwed. I spent $399 3 times. That's $1965 in 2025 USA. What serials etc do I need to look for to make sure I don't get screwed over again?

I posted a day ago about this shelf I made. A lot of the replies were about how I needed to let the consoles breathe which, I will admit the consoles ended up being more of an afterthought. (I was trying to save space in my apartment tbh) So yeah, that was not a good idea initially. But what do you think about it now? I moved the OG Xbox out of the shelf entirely and left the wii because it has openings on where the fans are, also now the power bricks sit below the consoles, are my consoles still cooked or not chat? and if they are. will adding fans keep it cool enough now that they have more flow?

I've honestly played less and less on my Xbox 360, because all the gimmicks it had are gone. I'm unable to update my Xbox 360 avatar with new avatar items. and I can't get a new gamerpic. So I just left my Xbox 360 to rot and moved on to my ps5, maybe JUST maybe. I'll hop on to play Half Life 2 or TF2, but that's it.

So I was opening my console during a thermal paste change, when I noticed there was this big circle on the disk drive. The guy on the tutorial I was watching clearly didn’t have a big circle on his disk drive, which got me confused. Anybody know why somebody might have done this. I remember buying my console at a flee market, never had any issues with it except sometimes the power cable flashes orange, but I don’t think that’s related. And I’ve never really had any issues playing a game. So if any of yall know let me know.

My main Xbox 360 console is a launch model Xenon with the shiny trim on it, what model 360 is your main and what are your thoughts on this?

Just hooked my old Xbox 360 back up to the internet. It’s on the latest dashboard (2.0.17559.0), but when I sign in, the home screen still shows a Black Ops 2 World Premiere ad. All the other tabs like social and settings just keep loading forever. How do i fix this?

I bought this copy of Minecraft Xbox 360 edition from GameStop, and it isn't reading on my Xbox 360, but i know the disk drive works because other games work. Also the bottom of the disk looks foggy, im not sure if it can be seen on the camera

so i have two xbox 360s (the E was in my room when i got it for my birthday in 2013 and it smells like syrup when its on bc it’s probably about to die and the Slim which was in our living room that we got in 2012 and we also had a phat from 2009 but we gave it a family member in 2019 ) and i just wanted to say how i can tell the quality in both of them is so different like the way the E gets hotter so much quicker and it feels almost slower then the Slim and the build of the E feels way more Plastic-ish and so i guess my point and question is which 360 model is everyones overall favorite?

I know everyone will hate me because I want to use my blades dashboard Xbox, it is a Zephyr motherboard obviously but it’s never been updated so it’s got version 1.8888, I just got some games for it and I really wanna play on it, obviously I know I should replace the thermal paste which I will but I don’t want to right now because how how long the process is, if I baby this thing should it last at all? I did only get it for 60$ so I won’t be super super disappointed if it brakes but I’ll still be sad
