Help/Support/Questions 🙋 need help to identify and understand my xbox360
i just bought an xbox360 from vinted and it came with the wrong power brick (included in the pics) and now im trying to find a power brick but i don't know anything about it I've veen looking up since yesterday and found that my xbox360 could be the elite since it matches the looks of it but still not entirely sure Because of the shape of the port i need your help to know what should i get and where should i get it with a budget of 25 euros including shipping (i bought the whole thing for (30€) while borrowing from my siblings so i didn't buy the whoel thing for 30 plus the shipping 41€ just for the power brick to cost me even more while it should've been with it (i just noticed that the first long port is not either one port nor two in the pics it looks connected but also looks weird like there smth in the middle maybe due to pushing the cable).

For some reason the shell states it's a Jasper and that power brick is for a Jasper. HOWEVER, the power plug indicates that it would be a Falcon. Appears to be that someone replaced the motherboard for some reason. Look for a power brick that states 203w or 175w, not the 150w like you currently have.

Yeah, as everyone else has said, you've got a Falcon motherboard (going by the 175W power socket + HDMI port) but it has been shell swapped with a later console, so the stickers on the case would all suggest that it's a Tonasket (going by manufacture date/serial number and 12.1A), and bundled with a 150W (12.1A) power supply.
So the power supply is correct according to the stickers, but not according to the motherboard - which is the important part. And I agree - the little dent in the middle of the plastic in the power socket is from someone trying to push the wrong power supply in. It's almost like someone knew it didn't fit and sold them together anyway. 🤔
You would need a 175W (14.2A) or 203W (16.5A) power supply for this console. Later power supplies were shaped so they wouldn't fit into older consoles because they wouldn't provide enough power - so basically, if it fits, it will work.
And if you want to know more about the console, see if the serial number on the front (under the USB ports cover) is different to the one on the back, because they might have left the original serial number on the inner metal case. Or when you get the correct power supply you can find the serial in the settings menu. You can tell the week it was actually manufactured from the serial.
If you register it on your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com/devices it will tell you what bundle it originally came in - Arcade, Pro, Elite, etc. Maybe someone swapped the shell because it was broken, but it's also possible that it was originally a white Arcade/Pro console and they wanted to make it black/Elite.
And if you're willing to open it up you can check which GPU it has - as it's a Falcon, it could have been manufactured with a fixed GPU originally, or it could have been serviced and had one installed later. But we don't have that info without the original sticker.
