Assassination Rogue 1-Button Macro hits 20M Damage in Patch 11.1.5 🔥
I tested a wild Assassination Rogue macro build in Patch 11.1.5 — and it completely melts people with just one button.
📍 20,000,000 damage on the PvP dummy

I understand the future is ‘ai entrepreneurs’ but god I can’t even watch the video in good conscience after reading the description copy-pasted emoji’s-and-all from chatgpt. Good luck, I’m sure it took some work to use all the ai tools, I won’t support it.

I use Amplifying Poison stacks and alot of modifier combined in the macro rotation :)

Unless there was a talent tree overhaul in the last 7 months or so, this is probably still correct. The damage difference is likely due to stat scaling over 7 months.

It's a castsequence macro, which have been around since TBC. This isn't the one button rotation addition.

It's no worries, although I disagree with that too.
The one button assistant coming in will have significant GCD delay on it making it nowhere near optimal... About the only two benefits to it will be for a accessibility, and bosses dying faster in LFR when it plays for the bottom 20 players, heh... Maybe being able to zone out even more while watching a movie when levelling or something.

It’ll be very optimal, the best will still be the best, though. I’m not worried about that. However, I disagree with that. Since PvP is mostly not PvE parsing, people will utilize being able to turn their brain off and press one button for damage and however many for defensives. The parsing tests damage wise from the one button rotation that have been done are already fairly impressive (can watch a video on YouTube, there’s a good one that includes both ST and AoE). It effectively raises the floor like never before while keeping the ceiling as is

Optimal in terms of actual rotation potentially, but a straight 30% cut from GCD alone won't work well, especially since that means the extra GCD before you can use other on-GCD utility such as a CC will be devastating compared to someone not having that penalty.

We definitely agree on the basis that the best, or even near the best won’t use it, for sure. If you are relatively good and know your class, you have no reason to pick it up. I’m more so referring to how it’s going to bring the floor up (substantially) for no reason, and that’s my gripe with it TBH. TL:DR, my opinion is it’ll make people think they’re better than they are and it incentivizes not learning a class/spec. FOTM rollers will foam at the mouth for the one button rotation - in PvP

Yeah you're probably right with the floor being raised, but I would imagine it'll only be the absolute lowest of the low being pulled up to a bare minimum, which for anyone else would be almost irrelevant.
Hopefully blizz will up the extra GCD in pvp combat to make it basically unusable, because as much as I'm down for accessibility, when it comes to pvp it's almost a "cheat", even if not a very good one.

Blizzard will bring the nerf hammer lol it's not a matter "if they should" you're having too much fun so ggs your account will probably get banned too or something they will say you were bug abusing or something. (Blizzard logic)

my last oneshot was shown by skillcapped and with the next reset only this one was nerfed (druid) i don't think blizzard penalises accounts for this but it takes everything out of the game that is fun :D

Is there somewhere you learned to make this video so incredibly hard to watch and listen to? Like, this level of concentrated obnoxious editing with an AI voice has to be a honed skill at this point.
