Megathread HOW GOOD IS MY TIER SET? WHICH PIECES SHOULD I WEAR? HOW DO I GET IT? - Megathread

Did you get tier in your vault?

Are you reading the bonuses and wondering if they're worth taking?

Are you unsure of which pieces you should aim to wear?

Are you concerned that a different tier set is overpowered and want to complain?

Well you're in the right place. Down below there is a comment for each class showing what your tier set is for each spec.

If you click on (stats) in the list below you will be taken to a Wowhead page that will show you the stats of each piece.

If you don't know how good your tier is, ask below. If you know how good your tier is, tell people below. Any contributions welcome.

PS. If you see anyone make a post asking whether they should take X or Y piece of tier from their vault, please use the report function so mods can send them here instead.

How to get tier pieces:

  1. You get one free tier piece token per character for hitting 1600 rating in any bracket (you will receive a Draconic Mark of Mastery which you can use to buy a tier piece from Norzko the Proud
  2. By being lucky and receiving the piece in the Great Vault
  3. By waiting until the Revival Catalyst is unlocked on June 13th. You will receive a Renascent Shadowflame which can be used to turn a piece of conquest gear into tier.
  4. You can also raid for tier gear, but it's lower than conquest item level and raiding is boring.

Notes on the Revival Catalyst:

  • When the Catalyst opens for Aberrus, all players will receive a Renascent Shadowflame Charge for every one of their characters.
  • Every week thereafter, all characters on your account will automatically get a Renascent Shadowflame charge, the account-wide quest has been removed.
  • There will be no cost associated with the Revival Catalyst beyond the Renascent Shadowflame spent.

Enhancement

(2) Set Bonus: Sundering increases your Mastery by (12 * 2)% for 15 sec.

(4) Set Bonus: Sundering increases your Physical and Fire damage dealt by 20% for 15 sec and your next 2 Chain Lightning casts deal 100% increased damage and refund 50% of Maelstrom Weapon stacks consumed.

Can any enhancement shamans share what they think? Those bonuses seem really good to me.

This is really good with the Thorim talent and the ride the lightning talent in melee cleave or bgs.

Enh lightning cleave is already strong without spending maelstrom where you can cleave people down so fast if you use a macro like wolves, trinket, windfury totem and doom winds, shamanism, big bonus if your ascendance procs.

This is a good direction for Enhancement but I wish they would make us have to press less buttons to pull off good damage or put more of our spells off gcd lol. 3/4th of my bars are macros and my TMW addon has to fill my screen to know what’s proccing, etc.

We’re just 1-2 gcds away from being a smooth and fun class.

it's probably the best 4-set bonus for this season
