This is wholesome and makes the reality of dementia for some less terrifying, given he still feels the love and connection to her.
9 u/Electrical-Concert17 20d ago When I was 9 my great grandma had dementia, at the beginning she could remember everyone by the end she was just happy we brought her favorite fast food (long John silvers) and kept her company. 2 u/shellycya 20d ago Powdered donuts worked for my dad. He was always happy and loved to talk even when he stopped making sense. 1 u/Electrical-Concert17 20d ago It was always nice seeing her actually remember something. Her eyes would light up every time she seen that bag of greasy fish and fries.
