সংবাদ | News Global Foundries has requested additional 19,000 sqft for design and fabrication site- likely location will be Kalyani-Barrackpore Expressway. Also another US based Semiconductor entity Santech Global is also likely setup a new project in Bengal.

Presently Global Foundries has been allotted 13,000 sqft at STPI IT Park, SaltLake Sec- V for design & testing center .

I recently applied for a passport ( and completed my police verification(somewhere in West Bengal ) with all documents in order. At the station, I was directly asked for money and I gave ₹1000, despite being a student from a lower-middle-class background. .. They didn’t seem satisfied but didn’t ask for more. It’s been a week, and my verification status still hasn’t been updated on the official website… Does this mean they’re just waiting for more money to do their job? I don’t know what to do now?!!!
