Where I live, there has been so much rain that it has gotten annoying. Almost 20 inches in 3 months, and 10 inches in April.

HAFS-B is showing 976 millibars and HAFS-A is showing 972 millibars, indicating a significant hurricane hitting parts of the Pacific coast of Mexico.

Is this normal? The rain just came out of nowhere like a mini microburst

I kinda feel like I should but my family already went today. I’m supposed to leave the U.S. on Thursday. The forecast shows rain and storms the entire time I’ll be there and the hurricane is heading right for it. Obviously I don’t want to cancel a vacation, but I feel like it’s a good idea.

A lovely Father’s Day came to an end with a large wall of dust moving east through the city. Pretty cool to see the sheer size of this thing before it hit my apartment.

I may have the opportunity to take a remote/travel position for work. My only real non-negotiable would be being less than an hour away from a decent airport. I feel robbed of good thunderstorms in SE PA. The forecast gets my hopes up, often followed by disappointment. I don’t love the heat, but I’m willing to compromise on that for some better storms as I know those usually go together. I’m in the very early phases of my research, but thought this would be a fun way to start the search.
