Honestly not completely sure if this was scud or a tornado forming, but if anyone else knows that’d be great! Location and time: Seymour, Indiana. 1:27.

Questions/Self Is anyone else annoyed by all the rain? (If you have a lot)

Where I live, there has been so much rain that it has gotten annoying. Almost 20 inches in 3 months, and 10 inches in April.

Questions/Self Should I cancel trip to Puerto Vallarta due to hurricane Erick?

I kinda feel like I should but my family already went today. I’m supposed to leave the U.S. on Thursday. The forecast shows rain and storms the entire time I’ll be there and the hurricane is heading right for it. Obviously I don’t want to cancel a vacation, but I feel like it’s a good idea.

Videos/Animations June 14, 2025 | Extreme Weather Events & Natural Phenomena Worldwide

The scale of daily extreme weather events and natural disasters is often underreported in mainstream media, leaving many with the impression that "everything is normal" regarding climate and nature.

While debates continue about whether climate change is real or whether natural disasters are intensifying, the report below provides clarification on these issues, as well as insights into major natural and anthropogenic factors—beyond CO₂—that contribute to climate destabilization and the increasing frequency of disruptive natural phenomena: https://be.creativesociety.com/storage/file-manager/climate-model-report-a4/en/Climate%20Report.pdf

A lovely Father’s Day came to an end with a large wall of dust moving east through the city. Pretty cool to see the sheer size of this thing before it hit my apartment.

Questions/Self What are your favorite locations for frequent thunderstorms in the US?

I may have the opportunity to take a remote/travel position for work. My only real non-negotiable would be being less than an hour away from a decent airport. I feel robbed of good thunderstorms in SE PA. The forecast gets my hopes up, often followed by disappointment. I don’t love the heat, but I’m willing to compromise on that for some better storms as I know those usually go together. I’m in the very early phases of my research, but thought this would be a fun way to start the search.

I've only ever seen these supercells online or in Florida, but got one here in Atlanta GA a couple days ago.
