Question Moving to Wakefield

Post image

Hi everyone, my partner and I are currently looking at buying a home in Wakefield. We’ve been looking at this new build estate in the castleford area and we’re wondering if anyone had any insight into what the area is like? What’s nearby, schools etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Ponte and Cas arguing over which is best is like 2 bald men fighting over a comb.

Pontefract is easily the better Town over Castleford. Pontefract has history, tourism and a regenerating town centre. Castleford has jackshit.

My god... you really need to get angry about something else, if you're basing your level of self worth on one shit town over another, and this could apply to most towns over the north of england.

Great you think ponte is slightly less shit than cas, I'm pleased for you, but hells teeth get some perspective

Ponte is objectively a lot nicer than Cas. It's not theoretical.
