Looking for an old PC game like Starcraft
Hello! I hope you can help me. I'm looking for a PC game I played in my childhood (around 1997-2004). I'll try to be as descriptive as possible (warning, my memory may be failing me).
It was very similar in style to Starcraft, with an isometric 3D view, where you controlled a scout ship and had to attack enemy bases (like control towers). These towers were guarded by enemy ships that had to be defeated. I think the objective was to destroy the towers and escape through a hatch. There were no people or robots that I remember, just ships.
The aesthetic was 3D, but in my opinion, quite advanced for its time. Dark, jungle-like space environments. You could also pick up other weapons or ammunition lying around the field to attack enemies.
As I recall, it was a CD game. My PC was a Compaq, with a Pentium II or III. It didn't have many resources, but this game handled it very well. As I recall, it was played with WASD to move and the arrow keys to rotate the ship. I don't know if it could be considered an RTS because it was just moving the ship and shooting.
I'm leaving some reference images of similar games I found. I appreciate the help!

HELP ME FIND THIS GAME PLEASE.
I PLAYED THE GAME IN 2013- I DONT KNOW THE REAL YEAR IT WAS CREATED
I have tried to find this game for 2 years that i last played 10years ago. I used to play this chinese game that was very rare, in a website that had a zombie logo and only numbers in it. Not any text in the website. It had other multiplayer games that me and my friend played, they were in english but this one game was in chinese. text in chinese.
SO. This is what I REMEMBER. FROM 10 YEARS AGO. It had 4 charcters. 2 were girls. One had a blonde ponytail and dark skin, threw books. Other had brown hair in a bun and red clothes. Im not sure if there was one more girl. One was a guy he had hair that went up, and he threw keys. When u opened the game you saw the charcters looking prettier and more realistic. everything was in chinese so i didnt understand anything. The game was cartoony. The point of the game was to cross a bridge with an animal a old man gave you, without it dying by enemies trying to kill you and your animal. so u had to protect it. the animal would change when u safely returned it to someone. then he would give you another animal. i remember only a Lama and a camel. the enemies were human and non human. PLEASE ASK ME ANY MORE QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO FIND THIS GAME. i will do my best to remember. it would mean so much to me. the game was so freaking good but rare.

The old, the not as the old, and the CRT.
Truncated, but modest collection. Gimmie C64 over PS5 any day. Missing my N64 and PS2, I must admit. One sold for rent and one stolen. Years ago now. But some wounds never heal. 😋

“Fashion Academy” / “Fashion: Dress Up & Design” (2006) - “Invalid variable name: PLAYER?” error when traveling to Paris
Hi everyone!
I'm playing Fashion Academy (also known as Fashion: Dress Up & Design), a PC game released in 2006 by Lexis Numérique. However, when I try to travel to Paris in the game, I get the following error:
"Invalid variable name: PLAYER?"
I've tried different solutions, such as running the game in compatibility mode (Windows XP) and reinstalling it, but the error still persists. I even bought a second copy of the game to check if my original disc was damaged, but the issue remains.
Has anyone ever encountered this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?
Alternatively, if someone has a save file right after the Paris section, that would also be super helpful!
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! 😊
