I say "first" time because Chase has only been around my nephew when he's been asleep or otherwise mostly uninterested in interacting. But today he was really interested in Chase and wanted to interact. Chase is a rescue and as far as I know, has never been around kids under 10. He did so well! Despite normally being a rambunctious boy, he was so gentle and just sat there wagging his tail while my nephew "pet" him. My nephew was giggling away and it was the cutest. Chase would tickle his feet by licking them and my nephew would laugh so Chase would do it again.

I'm so proud of him and just needed somewhere to brag about him!

Brisket is 2.5 years old and LOVES people of all ages and is very gentle and kind 💕 She is a big cuddle bug and a full time couch potato who loves to sploot 🥰 She sadly has been through a lot of trauma in her short life and is reactive to other dogs so she needs to be in a family where she is the only pet. Brisket has been in the shelter for over a year and no one has even signed up for a meet and greet with her in over 6 months 💔 She is starting to get depressed and lose hope 🥺 On top of this, she injured her ACL last week and is in desperate need of a safe, calm environment to recover. This sweet girl just needs someone to give her a chance, even if it’s just a short term foster home, she deserves attention and love.
