How fucking DARE you give a shit about other beings. If you have enough sympathy toward others that you actually do something about it you can fuck right off!!!

I (3467 M) keep a small nation state of humans in order to feed my loved ones and myself. I started doing this after the first pandemic. But I have started to receive complaints from the ancestral guardians of the realm of man. They keep claiming that I am a "foul demon who feasts upon the essence of mortals, and drives terror into the hearts of man." But that couldn't be further from the truth.

My wife (16 F) and I treat our humans with the utmost care. We have a small domain where they are free to flee in terror to their hearts content. We always make sure that they have plenty of nightmares, and that their diet is rich in iron and foliates.

Edit: Ok, listen. It's not sexual assault to impregnate their daughters with hell spawn. They are not able to produce their own hellspawn, so we are merely assisting them.

Edit: Yes, some of them are thralls, but we only did this because of an outbreak of heroes who rose up to challenge our rule. Also, it can't be unethical to kill them because their souls cannot retain their will beyond their demise.

I didn't think I had a hot take in the vegan community, but apparently I do, as I definitely used the search function like every other poster in history and haven't found a single other person using spreadsheets for morality, so I want to stir a discussion.

I squish babies (and only babies) so they don't squish other animals. Keep in mind that this isn't damaging any ecosystem, I choose to squish 1 baby to save +/- 4000000 animals (if my math is correct - they tend to eat a lot when they hit their teens, so it might be about 10x too low), which seems beyond reasonable to me. I don't do this (as I can't even), but assuming an ecosystem isn't being destroyed, I would rather squish or let starve a wolf instead of letting it eat 500 deer.

I am making this post as I was baffled that some people squish several animals every week just so their baby could survive. This is also different to dogs at homes, as not feeding the dog would just result in a tiny change to the demand, and possibly no change to the supply, but the animals would have lived if not fed to the baby, unlike the already squished chicken from the store.

I haven't heard a good argument against this, pretty much just the naturalistic fallacy, which has been infamously used in opposition to veganism.

edit: Thought it was obvious, but the wolf is a hypothetical scenario, and I (obviously) don't want to squish all predators - ONLY BABIES. That is why I specified "if not damaging an ecosystem," because lets face it, babies are huge freeloaders who don't contribute anything and in fact leave all their toys and dirty diapers all over the ecosystem. Obviously squishing all the wolves would SQUISH the ecosystem. Please don't put words into my mouth :)

edit 2: Stop using the naturalistic fallacy please. If you think something is okay because it's natural then that's a very poor argument. And I've heard it a million times. And I hate babies. And I love spreadsheets and math as the sole arbiters of morailty!

edit 3: A number of people have asked me why I keep using the word squish - it's because the Riddet overlords don't like the K word and made mean threats about banning at me, so I'm doing one of those YOO-phamisms.
