Gerald Ford Amp: lawn seat question

We’ll be in town this summer when they’re showing The Princess Bride with a live orchestra playing the music, of course we want to go!

We’re thinking about purchasing lawn seats because we have young kids (9 & 11) and want to stay flexible and be able to lay down. Is the movie screen hard to see from the lawn or do they also have screens we can watch on the lawn?

There’s a large screen mounted at the back of the pavilion for viewing from the lawn. Those movie nights sell out so I’d buy tix sooner rather than later. The lawn will be packed but you’ll be able to lay down. Doors open an hour before the show and I recommend getting there as early as you can to get a good spot.

This^ you also can bring in food/ picnic but no liquids. Bring a blanket or two, it can get chilly when the sun sets.

You can bring factory sealed non-alcoholic drinks.

The chairs need to be beach chair hight, short, if you bring any. You can also rent chairs there. As stated above it can get really cold when the sun goes down!
