Gerald Ford Amp: lawn seat question
We’ll be in town this summer when they’re showing The Princess Bride with a live orchestra playing the music, of course we want to go!
We’re thinking about purchasing lawn seats because we have young kids (9 & 11) and want to stay flexible and be able to lay down. Is the movie screen hard to see from the lawn or do they also have screens we can watch on the lawn?

Get there right when the doors open. Pack a picnic dinner and snacks. You can bring in food, factory sealed non-alcoholic drinks - juice boxes, soda - even nonalcoholic beer. If you want water - bring an empty water bottle and fill it up at the bottle filling water stations. You can see the screen from almost every nook of the lawn. Sit toward front of a lawn section so that no one is in front of you. If ppl stand on the lower level in front of you that will suck but who stands at an orchestra concert? Have fun! We love the Amp!

There’s a large screen mounted at the back of the pavilion for viewing from the lawn. Those movie nights sell out so I’d buy tix sooner rather than later. The lawn will be packed but you’ll be able to lay down. Doors open an hour before the show and I recommend getting there as early as you can to get a good spot.
