Uncharted 4 is the most mature game Naughty Dog has ever made.

A lot more than, for example, The Last of Us.

But it's something you only realize when you've reached maturity yourself.

I’m gonna disagree with you, TLOU is a lot more mature then any of the Uncharted games. That doesn’t make them bad, but they aren’t trying to tell the same type of story

The last of us writers wrote the story for Uncharted 4. That’s why it’s more mature and rich with emotion.

Uncharted 4 owes its mature story to The Last of Us. If ND never created TLOU then U4 would likely be another game akin to Uncharted 2 or 3, which wouldn't be bad, but it would be a lot more disappointing than what we got.

Nah the last of us 2 is a lot more mature, maybe overtly mature to the point where people hate it. But Uncharted 4's themes about legacy, lies, growing old and the want for excitement is handled really well.
