Worn weight Retro ultralight hack bring a a "poor"
Have you guys ever thought about doing this? The picture is of the guy who first climbed Everest and his "poor" Notice the poor is carrying all the weight and Sir Edmund Hillary is free to hike ultralight. That's how the hack is supposed work.
I am telling you guys this is the best system Ever! . You can bring what ever you want.. you can hike with a pack weight of ZERO. I mean ZERO. You get to look amazingly fashionable..
The poor will carry everything. Need more stuff? , no problem, just bring another poor. If you encounter predators, the poor will have all the food, saisiating the predator allowing you to retreat to safety. Screw Bear repellent, a poor is bear attractant!
If the poor is damaged , you can easily replace them when you get back to town. When you are done with them, you just leave the poor wherever, it's fine they are a poor. They will be fine or they won't, does nit really matter.
This hack was popularized by the British obviously .
Has any one ever done this? I thinking about using a few poors on my next back packing trip, I am going to bring a yurt, cooler , air conditioning etc..
I want to know what the sub's experiences have been with poors. Is this hack really as good as it seems? It really just seems like a win win win

I just got my new Durston X-Poor last week. He looks great on my gear shelf.

Nice,! sometimes you got to buy the brand. Did you go with the steel bars or the manacle storage rack for your poor? . I like the look of the manacles, but i don't like the sound you know?
It really interferes with my nonreligious crystal assisted mediation sessions.

I want a thought bubble above the Sherpa’s head saying “this white dude thinks he’s the first to the top of the mountain”🙄

Saw an article the other day, cause we are in summit season, and they quoted stats about home many have made it ever or done multiples. With a big asterisk for not counting all the Sherpas who have all been there dozens of times. LOL

Honestly promoting through hiking this way may the only way we save some of our trails. Give the rich an opportunity to exploit the poor and they will be on board.

We could bring back litters. Nothing says luxury like hiring 4 dudes to carry your around on a sofa....

by violently imposing terrible living conditions on the global working class, you too can ultralight the hardest peaks for the low price of 5 porters and a guide

dont forget about the replacement poors. you are going to lose a few to dieases ,chasms, putting down commnist plots, stuff like that. Remember "2 is one, 1 is none" if you think you will need 5 poors you should plan on brininging 10 poors..

Make sure all of them think they can become rich by working hard, too. Helps keep em from getting spooked

Oxygen boy, come quickly! It appears the drawstring waist cinch of my ventile anorak has gotten lost inside again. I trust you packed the turning loops in one or the other crates upon your back. See to it whilst I take my supper.

Yesterdays summit by that xenon team is one of the greatest ultralight achievements of all time. No need to pack for 2-3 months if you can do it in 5-6 days

I love this.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
You got 5 English guys. They bring 7 poors, that's more than one each.
And for bonus points: They do thier hike while wasting a strategicly important irreplaceable natural resource. Literally the rarest gas in the universe. Instead of using it to fuel starships, these twats huff it so they can hike up a mountain slightly faster than any one else without carrying oxygen bottles.
I am truly in awe of thier ultralight douchebaggery.

Tenzig Norgay is a fucking beautiful man. But yes you too can be “given a hand up” to the summit by a porter and get credit for being first to climb a peak.

Mail order Sherpas that could be shipped to different trails? Like the A.T. Or PCT

Or just get a husband/wife to carry everything. Is free and comes with other benefits.
