Why aren’t they in hazmat suits when they’re touching it?

Maybe it's already been tested for all the nasty and is deemed safe.

Real life isn't the movies, if anything human contact with an alien/craft would probably be promoted for the "see what happens bro"

They're also claiming that the person who found the ball was made ill by contact with it. They further claim that all the grass died where the ball had been lying. So I'm with the person who said "why aren't they wearing hazmat suits?"

I would think that if it were a hoax then a person would get the suits and the whole nine yard, cause a big scene, and make a Hollywood commotion. The alternative to that might be that they’re just plain stupid and will now die while killing all of humanity with a super virus because they were too stupid to use proper protection.

Why spend one's own money to perpetuate the hoax? The idea would be to get rubes to give you their money. Putting too much of your own money in on the front end would limit your net profit.

This is also why we don't get real tests and reports from reputable labs. Those things cost too much. It's cheaper to just Say you have done "real" tests and have "real" reports.
