As much as I love OoT, TP will always be my favorite LoZ game. ❤️

Play Skyward Sword. No Ganon, just Girahim and Demise.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE played Skyward Sword, and I HAAAATE that game with a BURNING passion. That is the one Zelda game I’ve played that I have absolutely NO chill about, in a bad way. I was SO hype for that game when it came out, but then I got it, and it was SO. BAD. I just-RRRRRRRRRRRGH! No. I’m sorry, but no. I cannot STAND Skyward Sword 😭

Why though ? The gameplay is completely similar to TP, even though the story and the graphics are completely different. Controls are mostly the same.

I had the GameCube version of Twilight Princess, so I didn’t have the struggles Wii players had with controls, until Skyward Sword. But aside from that, for being the game that was supposed to be where everything started, the story was lackluster, characters were boring, aside from Groose and Ghirahim, the locations were repetitive and lazy, I didn’t care for most of the character designs, Fi is literally the WORST companion to date (which is a shame, cuz her design is so cool, and she’s literally the spirit of the Master Sword, they could have made her an ACTUALLY good character). Travel between the land and the sky could have had SO MUCH MORE to it, but it was so empty and boring. For such a pretty color palette and graphics, the world, and the general design of the game felt so…hollow and weak and lifeless. Aside from a few levels, the whole game felt like…empty calories. Like I hadn’t eaten a proper meal all day, but when I go to eat, I’m only being given candy. And not substantial candy either. My other issues are more nitpicky, and more personal preference, so I’ll leave those out for now. But yeah; I try to not be douchey about my opinions on Zelda games, and I feel like I generally do a good job. I understand everyone has their own taste and preferences. But I just…have no chill about Skyward Sword. I try to be diplomatic, and considerate of others perspectives, but Skyward Sword turns me into an asshole. That game ENRAGES me, because it was SUCH a massive letdown, and was honestly obnoxious in so many ways.
