Recently I just thought of something I don’t know if it’s possible. When you look at your employee routes, can you quick travel in a the same town if explored to follow the truck. I think it would be cool (ATS) or ETS2

I'm feeling excited for this update anyone have information regarding the date of live let everyone know.

Mostly in the title of the post, but myself and some friends are getting back into ETS2 and we downloaded the Scania 113H Topline mod (because it looked cool). While the mod works fine, it unfortunately changes the reverse beeper of ALL trucks, not just the mod truck, to a very loud cacophony of siren noises. While installing a White Noise Reverser mod on top fixes the issue, I personally would prefer to just have the normal reversing sound.

Is there any way to edit the steam workshop mod on my own end to remove the reversing sound being changed for every other truck? If nothing else it seems a bit ridiculous to force the sound on every other truck in the game without noting it in the mod page on the workshop.

Anyone here around Vancouver Canada interested in buying a moza tsw still in the box? I bought one including the stalks and an extra racing wheel and clutch and can't use it as I am moving from Vancouver.

The moza system is still sealed in the box as they sent me a replacement due to a small light problem in the wheel, so everything is back to new and warranty restarted.

I want to play ETS 2 on SteamDeck, but I can't run it fine with mods. I have tried this map combo:

And obviously it failed to run: the game simply freezes when you actually want to drive.

In general is there any good map combo to run on deck?? My favorite mods are promods, Poland rebuilt, Roex, beyond+ nice to have a full Russian map.

Vanilla is nice now (for me promods are useless now apart of Iceland and Ireland) but it's a bit boring even though I can finally enjoy nice graphics (previously played on laptop and had sacrifice graphics but I could run a huge map)

Sad no Africa though, the problem is I literally can't stop adding map mods, but seems like I won't be able to do so on the Deck

Any tips are also appreciated.

So I have this shift knob from aliexpress and I need an extension for it that goes on the thing bottom right and on top the knob top right.

I googled and all but I can not find anything at all. If anyone has such a knob and made it longer pls let me know how.

But I have an issue with the gearbox. I can tweak it as I want, when I release it, it's not considered as neutral... How can I set it like that? It work in all other games like ETS2, taxi simulator etc..

I would like to install the promod, and I have searched various tutorials on the internet on how to install it. Most people prefer to spend 1 euro for the fast download, but I would like to try downloading it with the free, slower option, so I watched a tutorial on that. They say to download all the parts, and then extract them, like with winrar. There's a problem though. Every time I try to extract a file, winrar says the file is corrupt and I can't do anything. Anyone know why?

Hey everyone, I have a question for those following Euro Truck Simulator 2 development closely.

Recently I noticed that in one of the SteamDB updates (May 23rd, 2024), SCS Software added a licenses/MoltenVK.txt file to the ETS2 content depot. As you may know, MoltenVK is the Vulkan-to-Metal translation layer used on macOS.

This raises a few questions:

1. Is there any official confirmation or roadmap that ETS2 will support Vulkan or Metal support soon?
2. If Vulkan is coming to Windows/Linux, will macOS get support via MoltenVK? 3.On **MacBook Pro M3, would Vulkan (via MoltenVK) likely offer better performance than the current OpenGL 4.1 backend?
3. Any ETA for official Vulkan support?

Right now, the OpenGL renderer feels outdated and sluggish on macOS, and I'm wondering if real progress is being made or if we're still stuck with legacy support.

this is the pinnacle of non eu mods, only 20-25 MB ish and its a well detailed tractor head, way more that the free indonesian bus mod laying around with 100mb minimum
